We arrived at the hotel with our reservation but the owner wasn't there and the hotel was closed... He never showed up... But.... next door was a lovely woman who also had free rooms and offered us to stay at her place, which we did. Maybe they own the the hotels together, we never found out... For dinner she personally cooked fresh rainbow trout on the grill for us. She made us breakfast. And she picked us up from gubei water town. She is such a nice person. I recommend staying at her place even though the bed matress could be a little softer😅.

I better advise everyone not to go to inns but hotels, this inn was warm and clean but it was super noisy for the whole night. You can hear all the noise, talking babies crying and it feels like somebody is pouring the water just on your head. Because the bathroom used upstairs could be heard downstairs. I was really tired but unfortunately couldn’t sleep until 1 am . Next time I will not choose any place like this. Price is also not worthy, as there is no water to drink.

Booked this as all accomodation in the Water Town was full. Situated in a small village about 2km from the town. Villagers will often give you a lift and there is a bus or taxi. Not recommended to walk at night as road quite busy. OK supermarket about 400 meters away. Room basic but comfortable. Decent shower and power sockets. Slept like a log. Cheap (about 15rmb) basic breakfast available if booked in advance. Owners dont speak English but friendly and helpful.

There are all hotels nearby, and they all look the same from the outside, but this house is really the most distinctive and comfortable in the decoration nearby. The first day I visited the water town was too tiring, the next day I lay in the house watching a movie all morning, leisurely. The aunt and uncle of the hotel are very enthusiastic, and the cooking is very delicious, which is not a grade higher than that of the water town.

The B&Bs here are very suitable for family outings. It is also very good to take children. There is a large parking lot. The food cooked by the aunt is delicious. There is a supermarket and a forest park not far from the B&B. Especially sweet mulberries, the people of the homestay are very enthusiastic. If you go to the scenic spot to play, if there is no car, the uncle of the homestay will be responsible for picking them up. It is very quiet. Except for going out for a walk, I feel that I have been sleeping all the time, very cool, and I sleep well without turning on the air conditioner. , The decoration and sanitation of the homestay are very good. Next time there is a holiday, I should come again. The air here is also super.

Breakfast needs to be booked in advance, 15 per person, simple but tastes pretty good. It takes about 20 minutes to walk from the hotel to the scenic spot, but it is not recommended to walk on the road at night because it is a bit dangerous.

Check-in was smooth. We arrived at night and the landlord came to pick us up. He was very welcoming and gave us a five-star rating.
