Only a few meters away from bus 919 块 (express bus to Beijing city). Clean room, quiet, less than 2km away from Wanda Plaza (for lunch and dinner). Around 15-20km away from Badaling Great Wall, Wild Duck Wetland and Longqing Gorge. Nice base to escape the Beijing city life.

First I will tell my story about the mini-bar, then I'll get to the good things. So when I was booking this hotel, I was pleasantly surprised that it indicated "Minibar (free)" in the list of perks. Then in the room, I read the menu that explicitly said that the mini-bar offers a VARIETY of drinks free of charge (I'll attach all the proof for reference). But then I opened it and discovered a bunch of same bottles of WATER. I thought, hm, that's not what the brochure says. So I went downstairs to ask them about it, but they just kept saying - sorry, we don't have other drinks at this time. I said - I wouldn't mind at least a bottle of coke in it or something. They pointed at the vending machine right next to them suggesting to buy one... (facepalmed) And so I bought a bottle of coke, because I'm not trying to be a complainer or anything, but I felt a slight taste of a scam, considering how explicit they are everywhere about their "amazing free minibar". They say that don't have it, but yet they do put it into their lobby vending machines to charge you for them. I hope they can either provide proper selection in their minibar or remove any mention of it having various drinks to stop misleading those who love little perks like this. Other than that it is a high-quality hotel that is well-built, provides great comfort, and in all other matters staff was more caring. The room was gorgeous, with great design, tech, and view. Thumbs up for that.

I took my parents and children to Yanqing during the Mid-Autumn Festival and stayed at the Royal Palace Hotel. The experience was great. First of all, the location is very good. It is in the center of Yanqing District. Wanda is within two kilometers around and it is very convenient to eat. Secondly, the hotel service is very good. The front desk lady saw that we brought children and gave them children slippers and toothbrushes very considerately. The room is very clean and the breakfast is also rich. I will stay here again next time I come to Yanqing.

Baili Landscape Gallery, Badaling Great Wall, Four Seasons Flower Sea, Liugou Tofu Banquet, Yongning Ancient City, it is still a bit hot during the day, but the temperature is cool and comfortable at night.

The hotel is in a quiet environment. It is a little far from Wanda Plaza in Yanqing. The front desk receptionist upgraded our room for free on the day of check-in and was very patient and friendly! I booked a special price windowless room, but upgraded to a standard room, which is amazing value for money. The overall decoration of the room is quite new, and all facilities are functioning normally. The air conditioning and hot water are good, especially the shower room is spacious and clean, with a large amount of water and smooth drainage. You can park downstairs, and there is a hotel-specific parking space in the basement, right at the elevator entrance, which is very convenient.
