The check in process for this hotel was truly ridiculous. I waited in line for 15 minutes before checking in. Then the check-in process took about 10 minutes for the regular check in process which seems excessive. Then, the hotel had the forms required for foreigners to fill out regarding their travel history. Forms such as this are standard in China during the pandemic, but these forms were all written in Chinese with no English translation and asked repetitive and unnecessary questions. The form also required that I list the name and phone number of a Chinese citizen living in Beijing who can be contacted in case of an emergency. I understand these form are usually required by the local authorities and are not made by the hotel, but every hotel I have ever stayed at in China except this one provides a translation of the form. After finally getting checked in and arriving to my room, I received a call from the hotel that they needed to scan my passport again because they did not scan it correctly the first time. After coming back to the lobby to give them my passport again, 2 of the 3 people at the front desk could not figure out which pages of the passport to scan (all hotels need the information page, entry stamp, and residence permit). Eventually, someone who appeared to be a manager came and resolve this in a few seconds. I have stayed in several hotels in Beijing and throughout China during the last several months and have never experienced a check-in process like this. A less important issue with this hotel is the room smelled like smoke even though I requested a non-smoking room. I don't blame the hotel too much for this, because that is common in China. Later, I noticed that from my room, I can hear every word from the people in the room next door and I could smell it when they started smoking just as if they were in my room. Overall the room itself was comfortable, spacious, and clean. The room was cleaned every morning before noon and all of the hotel staff were very friendly. The breakfast was not amazing, but certainly not bad. The room has a stunningly gorgeous view of a lake and Chinese garden. The room is also very close to the subway line 8 & 10 which makes it very convenient to get anywhere in Beijing quickly. During rush hour traffic, the subway was much faster than a taxi or DiDi. Overall, this is not a bad budget hotel, but I will not stay here again.

We stayed in a standard room and the front desk service was good. We were able to see the room first before deciding whether to stay. However, When I was taking a shower, I found a problem with the bathroom floor drain. The service sister came to deal with it many times and her attitude was very good. However, the problem was not solved very well (it feels like it is an old problem and should be renovated, otherwise I really can’t catch it. We stayed in a hotel nearby). We only stayed for one day and didn't change rooms. I don't know if the air conditioner only had cold air, but it couldn't raise the temperature no matter how much it was turned on.

It was renovated last year and the room is very clean. My home is nearby, and I stayed here for a few days because of the renovation of an old house. We booked an ordinary standard room and were thoughtfully upgraded to a premium twin room. The room is very large, especially the bathroom with double basins. The bathroom is very large. It is really comfortable for a family of three. From the hardware to the service, it is really a four-star level. The staff are friendly and very nice. Although it is close to the Third Ring Road, the room adjacent to the Third Ring Road has double-layer windows, which does not affect your sleep at night. The hotel prepared 3M earplugs, but we did not use them. The Huguo Temple snacks downstairs are in the canteen style, which is very convenient, so if you don't want to issue an invoice, you don't need to order breakfast, because breakfast is also issued with Huguo Temple coupons. I like this Hotel Pretty much! That was my first stay but I'll be booking it in a future many times taking into account that number of my frequent business trips to Beijing. The front desk staff was super helpfull! Thank you very much, girls! There was a special request from me about specific procedure of my business trip nature. Great help! Room was clean and convenient. Amenities have different kinds and much more than in other hotels I have stayed before. All rooms has windows. The breakfast and dinner ate available in restaurant at the first floor. Near to the hotel, if you face to the hotel from left side after five minutes walking just where is cross road bridge there are located a few canteens with acceptable food. Try 黄焖鸡，tasty. The subway is right in front of hotel doors, just need to across the road. For Beijing this is perfect in scope of saving time. I am happy to discover this hotel for my future staying.
