The hotel is really great if you’re traveling to Beijing during fall or winter. The heating system in rooms is perfect for cooler seasons. I wouldn’t call it a 5 star hotel but it’s worth the price. It’s about 20 minutes by car/ 50 minutes by subway away from the Palace Museum. Will definitely book again.

This hotel is very clean and well Managed. I had no issues from beginning to end. The only thing was room service did not bring cutlery with my meal. But everything els was 1000%. Great Hotel! Will certainly be back. The only complaint I have is with the details of my package. This was very misleading and not accurate at all. This amazing package was actually just club access and had no special value.

Even though I don't speak Chinese, I really enjoyed the performances and the demonstrations of the history and logistics of the puppets. I also got to paint my own puppets after the show (for an extra fee), which I loved. Really friendly staff and beautiful décor. It would have been nice to have some more natural light in my room and the walk back to the hotel was pretty dark at night and away from the main street, which I would have preferred to avoid as a solo female traveller. However, all of this was made clear when booking the hotel, so they set clear expectations and made it a memorable and comfortable stay. Would recommend!
