Ok hotel. But despite that the hotel is empty they didn’t offer late check in. Also everything is old. Location is good

I would like to share my honest experience with Four Points by Sheraton Le Verdun Beirut, Lebanon. I stayed at the hotel in December 2025. Overall, the level of comfort was average. At first, I chose to overlook many shortcomings. By nature, I am a positive person, and this is why I initially left positive feedback about the hotel. However, after what I experienced during my second booking at the beginning of 2026, I felt it was important to reassess my opinion with more neutrality, accuracy, and honesty. In December 2025, I booked a taxi through the hotel for my airport transfer. The Sales Manager personally confirmed that everything had been arranged. Yet, when I arrived in Beirut at 3:00 a.m. on Friday, December 5, 2025, no taxi was waiting for me. Imagine arriving alone, as a woman, in a foreign city in the middle of the night, after a long journey from Morocco, coming for a conference and tourism. I had to look for a taxi on my own at that hour. Thankfully, by God’s protection, I reached the hotel safely. Although the Sales Manager later apologized—and I accepted the apology—the incident left a lasting impression and was not easy to forget. Unfortunately, this was not an isolated issue. There were several other shortcomings: frequent power outages, front desk staff who sometimes did not even return a greeting, and poorly organized tours. On one occasion, the tour guide arrived one hour late, which led me to cancel the excursion out of self-respect. More troubling was the sense of discrimination I felt as a Muslim woman wearing a hijab—particularly from certain staff members in the restaurant and even from the hotel manager. At times, phone calls went unanswered, which only increased my feeling of discomfort and lack of respect. While I do acknowledge that the hotel has some positive aspects, the negatives clearly outweighed the positives. What I find almost ironic is that the hotel now requires a USD 50 security deposit per night, to be paid upon arrival. To me, this feels humiliating for guests. Where are trust and mutual respect? I strongly believe that guests are the ones who should be offered guarantees—especially when services fall short—not the opposite. Based on my experience, I rate this hotel one star only, and even this single star is given purely out of generosity. In conclusion, I deeply regret choosing this hotel. I have since canceled my booking for this year—fortunately in time. I will never recommend Four Points by Sheraton Le Verdun Beirut to people from my country, Morocco, or to anyone else. My stay at Four points by Sheraton Verdun truly exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely welcomed by the warm and attentive team. What made the experience even more special was celebrating my birthday during the stay. I was pleasantly surprised with a beautiful birthday cake and a warm welcome gesture, which made me feel so appreciated and cared for. It’s the little details like this that really make a difference and turn a stay into a memorable experience. The room was comfortable, clean, and well-maintained, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was elegant yet welcoming. Every interaction with the staff reflected professionalism and genuine hospitality. Thank you to the entire team for making my birthday stay so memorable ❤️I will surely be back!

Loved yusra at the front desk!! She always has a genuine smile on her face and tries as much as she can to help with anything you need! Would def recommend :)

We stayed here for one night. Room was very clean. The rooms with two beds have twin beds, not queen beds, so only for two people. Staff was very friendly. They arranged for us taxis when we asked and gave us recommendations of good restaurants in the area. It's a busy area though with a lot of traffic. Overall I enjoyed the stay.
