Enjoyed my stay there. The hotel outlook has a traditional flare to it if you want something different. Their food is nice but the menu lacks variety which is why I think it was a bit overpriced.

The pictures are entirely misleading. The condition of the entire hotel is in disrepair. It should be torn down or gutted and start over again. The lobby holds mechanical equipment hidden by slatted doors that are falling apart with chipped paint. The room is pathetic, starting with the walls. No amount of paint can fix the walls… they need to be re-dry walled, with proper moldings and new carpet has to be installed. The bathrooms are filthy. The grout has mold building up in the corners, and the sink doesn’t properly drain and a makes a gross gurgling sound. There are electrical wires strewn across the walls, a grocery store plastic bag used as a trash liner… The list of offenses goes on and on. We checked out early and went to another hotel— that’s how bad it was.

After mixing up my arrival date, the reception staff were really friendly and flexible and helped me change my dates around. I found the staff there friendly and helpful throughout my visit. The bar area was super nice and I invited local friends for a drink and they were equally impressed. I was given an king bed 'accessible' room for some reason. I found the king bed - which was 2 singles put together, pretty uncomfortable and the pillows smelt strange. Smell was part of the hotel, the bar entrance smelt off, as did the corridors and especially my room. I couldn't put a finger on whether it was a product smell or raw sewerage. All my clothes ended up smelling like my room and it was a bit gross. A lot of people complained about the noise at the weekend, a club is close-by and the hotel is above a bar so it is to be expected. The hotel put earbuds by the bed which was good. Water were regularly replaced too which was also good. Small things could be fixed like the TV remote and the safe, which I wanted to use. Overall it was an easy place to stay, hassle-free and in good proximity of the university and city centre.

Lovely hotel, great location (20 walk to city centre) & train station close by (Botanic stop). Plenty of bars & restaurants in the area. Hotel has its own bar & small nite club in basement. I didn’t have dinner as it was fully booked due to Christmas parties but did have a lovely breakfast. Staff very friendly & room was comfortable & clean. Our room was at front overlooking entrance but no noise could be heard. No car park but on street parking on side street is safe. Would definitely stay again & highly recommend

Dirty, Dirty, dirty. Place is unkept and everything is darkly painted and chipped. Lighting is poor. Made me wonder what they were hiding! The back of the bathroom door looks like something spilled all over it and was never cleaned. Toliet had difficulty flushing. Took me six attempts to get any water to come out. Bed dreadfully sags in the center. Elevator is sketchy. Earplugs on night stand? Didn’t realize what they would be there for until the second night…yes you guessed it….blaring dance music. ALL.NIGHT. LONG. Unreal experience on a night that we had to get up at 3:30 am to catch a flight from Dublin. House hotel is not worth the money you pay for it. Go somewhere else!

Great hotel and wonderful staff. We also ate dinner at the restaurant which was delicious. We visited Belfast as my daughter had an interview but we would gladly come again and stay at this hotel again.

Gute Lage für einen touristischen Aufenthalt. Laute Musik vom Pup ist im Zimmer noch bis spät Nachts zu hören.
