Avoid this hotel at all costs. We booked this as a couple for one night. Upon check in to our "spacious and modern" self catering apartment, located "opposite the hotel " we were taken out onto the steps of the hotel whilst the receptionist pointed vaguely at a building halfway down the street where we would be staying. We walked past the building because we in no way thought that the building we had thought he'd pointed at could be anything to do with the hotel. No signage and grubby. However, we checked again, and turns out it was the right one. We were in a rush as we were heading to a concert, so whilst majorly disappointed, we dropped our bags and ran. People were waiting around for their rooms, so we knew they were fully booked and didnt want to waste our time. As soon as we entered our "apartment " we were hit with a strong smell of urine. The apartment was dated and dirty, the kitchen floor was sticky and lifting, there was a popped balloon and food on the floor, the carpets were grubby, the wallpaper was hanging off the wall, there was a huge stain where the radiator was leaking, there was a huge crack in the bathroom tiles that was leaking water. It was NOTHING like what they advertised and certainly not worth the money. Felt like we'd been banished to an overflow or something. Terrible. Surprisingly at check out, we weren't asked how our stay was.....they obviously knew as soon as we gave our "room" number. Absolute disgrace.
