The hotel itself was really nice. Unfortunately unbeknownst to me was the fact I'd booked an adjoining room. It did not make for a peaceful night's sleep.

Very comfortable beds, and I love the pillows. The hotel is very clean, and the rooms are very well-kept, which I like in a boutique style. Only one thing the prices- to expensive

Went to the Malmaison restaurant as it was gifted to us and we were excited to have a lovely meal but I cannot recommend it. The staff were lovely and pleasant throughout the evening and the restaurant itself was beautiful but Im sorry I cannot say the same for the meal I received. The Yorkshire was so big it was the main event but I had to spit it out unfortunately as it tasted inedible and the chicken was the same. The vegetables were beautiful but very small and the potatoes were tiny like potato cubes rather than proper roast potatoes. I was very disappointed with this meal. The menu is false advertisement aswell, it states you will receive ‘half of a chicken’ and a ‘steak’. This is not the case at all. We received small cuts that tasted so bad they weren’t eaten. No gravy was served with the meal but I wondered what was the point in having any with such a small meal that’s inedible anyway. I don’t like giving bad reviews especially when the staff are lovely but this is the worst meal I’ve ever been served in a restaurant, in my life. I actually had to pause and look around to see if other people are enjoying this meal because I couldn’t believe it. My partner thought the chicken was off and couldn’t even swallow it either. The drinks we received were lovely and I would recommend the bar.

I'm writing this on a Monday night at midnight, second of five nights that I'm staying at this hotel. Definitely don't settle for a low floor, the noise from a dj'd wedding in the space below is absolutely horrible. The windows in my room are rattling from the bass, and I can hear the party-goers screaming their bohemian rhapsody through the walls. I'm surprised no one has pulled a fire alarm in this building just to get these folks to leave.

Had a fantastic stay in the Samson Suite at Malmaison Belfast! From the moment we arrived, the experience was exceptional. A special thank you to Dagmara and Triana at reception, who were absolutely wonderful—friendly, professional, and genuinely welcoming. We were given a fabulous surprise upgrade, which made the stay even more memorable. The suite itself was stunning—spacious, beautifully designed, and even had its own pool table, which was such a fun and unique touch! It’s the kind of experience that really sticks with you, and I’ll definitely be booking again. Highly recommend!

My husband booked the malmaison for a last minute stay for my birthday due to Storm Amy ruining our travel plans. We had a wonderful time at the hotel. We were given a free upgraded room given from Standard Room to a Club Room, which was absolutely gorgeous, spacious and had everything we could need. Hotel is well located in city centre, short walk to Victoria Square. The Nepresso machine was a nice touch to the room and the bed was very comfortable. Hotel was nice, cosy and toasty. Staff were fantastic, receptionist gave us free cocktail vouchers due to our room not being ready, 5 minutes later she gave us our room key in the bar. The Brambles were delicious. There was a mistake in the restaurant were someone ordered wrong beer and staff kindly offered them to us for free with peanuts too. We will definitely be returning to this gem of a hotel for our next visit to The Big Smoke. Thankyou for everything.
