We chose Malmaison for its close proximity to the Titanic Experience which, ironically, was closed on our three day stay, due to damage from high winds. Luckily, we had booked a further night two weeks later after our Causeway Coastal tour, when it was open - and sunny! Staff were generally very helpful with everything, including discount for nearby parking. We were able to use the drop off point for our luggage. We enjoyed the breakfasts each morning too. One discordant note: before we arrived I received an email encouraging me to upgrade for an extra £25. As the message contained a photograph of a spacious suite, I assumed this is what was meant. No other photos were attached. When we arrived, the 'upgrade' was for a standard room , but a wider bed. Not impressed. Eevn stranger when we returned at the end of our trip as we were given, at no extra charge, a 'corporate' room, much bigger than our earlier upgrade. How strange.
