Vijayshree Resort, Hampi

The restaurant at the resort is absolutely amazing. The service is some of the best I've ever encountered and the food was amazing. My stay overall was great. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and well maintained. But I think the lasting memory is the restaurant. The staff there alone is worth visiting. Kind and very sweet staff.

Very Very good resort, i would suggest you all to stay here if you're planning to stay even for 2-3 days. You can explore Hampi, as well as the resort. Can do camel ride, enjoy the music and fun with swimming, Dholu kunita, Bullock cart ride. The food was literally amazing, for sometime i thought that i'm staying in Rajasthan. Had authentic Rajasthani food here, dal bati choorma. Also, staff is very supportive. Specially Kudos to Ashish from restaurant, Dhilip Kumar from Housekeeping helped me in getting back my iPhone charger via courier. Thank you for the wonderful services guys, good job! :)

It was very pleasant holiday!Thanks to the warm hospitality rendered by Pritam,Bhadkar,Atul,Saddam,Asish!We will come again for relaxation ! Resort is quite serene, not far from the group of monuments at Hampi. Rooms are well maintained and everyone is cordial and courteous.

The Hotel is amidst greenery and well maintained and looked after gardens and an ideal place to experience tranquillity and rejuvenate yourself while experiencing the Ruins at a short distance away. The resort offers all the amenities and facilities required for a five star hotel. Special mention to the exemplary service of House Keeping Head Mr Dhilipkumar who was very caring and ensured top notch hospitality and The Resort ***ager Mr. G Thippeswamy, Ashish in the Food and Beverages section. The staff are highly knowledgeable and provide a lively and a positive resort ambiance. Must visit during your visit to Hampi

We booked 5 rooms through our Club Mahendra membership. Checked into Kutia rooms which were very basic & ordinary, not updgraded, no feeling of heritage as well. No cooling in a/c's during March heat. Testing meters displayed 30 degrees though a/c's were set on 18 degrees. Complained too ***y times, changed rooms.. Very ada***t & rude front desk ***ager Mr.Jhameel. Ants & Cockroaches in room. Electricity goes out 2-3 times at night spoiling our sleep, telephones not working in rooms to contact room service, house keeping, reception, etc etc...it's too lengthy...ultimately very terrible & horrible experience. We were just awaiting our check out. Few staff like Mr.Ismail, Mr.Roy and other were very cooperative but helpless. I would rate it negative. Forwarding detailed mail to the owner / ***agement & Club Mahendra.

Love the green landscape and love there heritage theme villas with outside sittings...my partner love the greenery and staff were well trained.thanku all for your hospitality and special mention Atul & Nikita (Smiling 😊 faces)...........

Polite and friendly staff, lovely grounds. Poorly maintained infrastructure with broken taps, toilets that flood, dirty pool unavailable for swimming, despite having been given the opening hours on arrival. Complaints are received politely but little or no action taken. Asked to wait for ten minutes for them to get back to us but then no follow up on numerous occasions. We spent several hours of our short stay there waiting for people to get back to us in order to resolve each of the ***y issues we encountered.

I had a very poor experience with Vijashree resort. I saw some video posted on YouTube saying its a Club Mahindra resort, I am not sure how much of that information is true. But this resort is in no way comparable to Club Mahindra standards. I stayed there with my family and paid a hefty amount of 10k for 3 adults and the experience was worse than what a 2-3 star hotel can provide. You can easily get 3 star hotel in much lesser budget that will give better facilities than this "resort" Just highlighting few points below - Dirty and unhygienic swimming pool which is not at all maintained properly. Not sure when was it last cleaned - Very average rooms with very old bedsheets and old bathrooms - The reception area itself looks so old and not renovated from a long time - They don't even give swipe cards for the rooms. The room provided to us for that price had to be opened with mechanical keys. Even 3 star hotels provide swipe cards these days. So definitely no way this is worth of the additional premium amount that you are paying to stay here - No temperature control system, they have an AC controlled by a remote that is normally found in 2-3 star hotel - If you are planning to come here without your own car, then do a proper research of the place before coming here as there is no shops, no restaurants, no other facilities outside this resort The only good part of this resort is the restaurant. The food is nice and the chefs and staff are very professional. So one can stay in 2-3 star hotel and come here to eat food. Overall a very frustrating experience and I will not recommend anyone to overpay for this resort.
