We were so impressed with this location! We're a large group of relatives who have traveled together every midwinter. From our first call, Victor was super helpful and accommodating. We needed adjoining suites, and he was so patient and kind. We were shocked to hear that he is pretty new on the job! Angela went out of her way to check in with us and ask after our needs. We had a few small issues that everyone was so quick to remedy. There were some difficult, belligerent guests there and we watched the staff handle things with grace and aplomb. Michael as well was super nice and helpful. Really good people. We were really grateful to have stayed here!

Great, freshly prepared food and big selection of items. Debra kept the food coming out and constantly cleaned the surface areas on the buffet table and she did it all with 50 high school kids charging towards the food! Way to go Debra! And thanks for remaining gracious and calm through it all.

Great location! There are so many restaurants right around the block on King Street. This is a very nice hotel. An oldie but goodie. Very large atrium where you can sit and enjoy the included breakfast every morning. VIP happy hour was perfect. We would definitely stay there again. Clean and friendly.

This has been the worst experience I’ve ever had with a hotel! I book a 2 queen suite 5 months ago and the day we were checking in I found out our room was changed to a king suite with a pull out couch. That doesn’t work for a family of 4. We needed a bigger room so our 18 month old had room to move around and everyone would have a bed. I called once I saw the change and they said they needed to put me on hold and instead hung up on me and didn’t answer when I called back. I tried calling again an hour later and got through and explained the issue. I was told they were going to try and work it out since the hotel was booked full. When we arrived they said everything was fixed but after checking in and getting to our room it was just a regular room with 2 queens. So again I had to go back to the front desk to address the mistake. I showed the confirmation email from 5 months ago and was told all of the rooms like I booked were full and someone had changed my reservation and should have notified me but didn’t. My options were to take the 2 queen room I had, go back to the king suite, or wait over an hour for the manager to arrive and try to get a refund since we already hacked in. We decided to make the king suite work because it’s wasn’t going to be easy to find a new hotel and we were tired after an 11 hour drive. For the last 3 nights of our stay the people in the room above us were constantly stomping on the floor for hours. Our last night we finally had enough because we couldn’t get our 18 month old to sleep so we called the front desk. For the next hour the noise kept going so I went to the front desk and asked again and she said it was a room of kids on there school DC trip and she went up and got it taken care of.
