I would rate my stay in this hotel as excellent. Staffs is friendly and helping. Hotel accommodation is new and design is superb. Bed is comfortable. Breakfast is delicious love the sambal nasi lemak and the croissant was veryyyy soft and delicious. Just that there is no specific parking space we parked at metra sentral parking space near their lobby. Lots of reserved parking but didnt see any car parking. When asking the counter informed that reserved parking means already full.😅 but overall everything ok

From the sweltering heat of the lobby to sp**** staffing, everything says “we only wish we are a 5-star but...”. Mudzaffar looks like they are a hotel training academy specialising in aiming at generating as many as guest complaints as they can possibly get. What they actually do with the complaints is anyone’s guess: probably classify them under OSA. These are the training areas that we experienced: 1. Air-conditioning in lobby not functioning. Probably for vocational trainees under find the cause. Or for finance officers on how to brutally reduce cost. 2. Inadequate staff to handle concierge. Designed for managers who can see the effects 3. Shops not opened. For time management trainees to see relationship between opening hours and revenue 4. Toilet with no hand drying facilities. For maintenance staff is and why the floor and door knobs are wet 5. Late check in: Staff learning to admit guests strictly at 3pm check in time despite hotel near empty on Sunday at 2:00pm 6. Slip shod construction. Meant for building students to see how to frustrate a 5-star claim 7. Room: 2 pillows for a double bed. Not even one extra in the cupboard. TV no reception until a few hours passed by. Room painted, no wall paper. Shower water pressure low. They give only one key card. All for trainees to evaluate the savings made. 8. Upon reaching the room there were 4 plates left by previous guest by the door. When we came back from dinner at 9pm, they were still there. Called reception and they casually replied “we will send someone to clear them” unperturbed by what happened. That off the cuff reply proves training works at this Academy. In all the Mudzaffar Hotel Training Academy is highly recommended for those who are into the academics. Not for a real hotel guest with out of norm expectations of staying in a hotel for comfort and rest.

Great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great staff. Most friendly and helpful receptionist and staff ever, lovely and great first impression of hotel. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service in where we had dinner. Food was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future

We like the place and shall be arranging more stay here , however , our request to extend to 2-3pm not granted and we had to pay a penalty fee. No doubt the staff was courteous, but we were pressured with multiple reminders on penalties despite our earlier booking request for extension . We are having a group of friends which are regular golfers travelling to malacca for golfing and entertainment frequently . Our golfing times are sometimes delayed due to traffic jams, travel time, weather delay etc n we envisage our time check out maybe 2-3 hours delayed which lead to our request but unintentional. Is there any way that the management can check whether this issue can be resolved or recommend us an option . Look forward to your response before our next booking. Tqvm for all matters attended.

The room is great because of the side pool river. My daughter loved it so much. However, the toilet smells like sewer. I think if you put air fresheners in the toilet, then it will be okay. The location is strategic. We can just walk to go to Kg Morten and enjoy the river side scenery at night. The parking area and the place are not at the same building but it is just next to the building.

I have been staying at this hotel quite a lot of times, worse each time. Pricing keeps higher and higher, deposit getting much higher(previous is RM50. But yesterday was RM200!), even though I stayed 5 stars hotel deposit was not much like here. The room is clean well, but the lighting in the side bed and sofa bed is totally no more, even though I can't read books on the bed(no side lighting beside the bed). The location actually is not so convenient, the parking fee actually is higher too. Talk about service, not provide service like hotel, onlly check in and check out can consider service. I am quite disappointed why the price rate and deposit rate are so high. But the facility in the room is less than the previous. It's not balanced for the guest. If you want to increase the renter rate, yes can, but must get more benefit for your guest I hope , the tenant can review my comment and restructure again the valuables for guest is based on my concern . The front desk staff are friendly and welcoming when we were check in with a complimentary cookies, when we got into the room we realised that the fridge wasn't working, we let housekeeping and they immediately changed a new fridge for us. the room was nice and spacious the lights are working fine however the sofa a a little old ed stained.the body foam that they provide probably only can last a day and you are need to ask the housekeeping refill it if staying more then a day . the breakfast is great although we could get a clean table and had to ask the waiter to clean the table for us before we could go and get the food. overall we love the bed the soft pillow and it was a good stay .

Good things: Friendly receptionist. Fast check in/out. Variety foods for breakfast. Easy parking access. Large swimming pool. Easy access to shopping mall. Large balcony. Tv well functioned - can watch all channel. Nearby water taxi jetty. Meh things: Corridor (where my room located) - dirty (lots of seems like pieces of tissues on carpets. Bath tub not well function (water still running out after the stopper push in). Lots of crows at swimming area (level 9) - making noise.

It was a really nice room with enough beds for the whole family, location is also excellent for local tourists with cars as all the sights of Malacca can be reached easily in about 30mins by car. Make sure to take advantage of the discounted tickets for attractions offered by the front desk, it can help you save a bundle.
