Hotel Peppertree Bend, BW Premier Collection

Rooms were extremely clean and pleasant. We used the Bike Storage Room…. LOVED that. We needed to leave before 6am so we missed breakfast but they had coffee🙏 I loved the location, it was quiet and safe but close to everything fun! You do pay a little extra for the location but I thought it was worth it

We were assigned to room 137 which is right next to the pool equipment room. The noise coming from that room was so loud sleeping was impossible, so we had to pack everything up and switch to a different room. The bathroom tub floor in our new room was very dirty (see picture). Because we were only staying for 2 nights we made no complaints and showered with our slippers on. Having a good night of sleep was more important to us. Lastly, the breakfast was fine although the lady working in the restaurant clearly needs a helping hand. At around 7:30 most of the food was already gone and not being resupplied. We even had to share our cutlery because all the cutlery was still in the dishwasher. On a positive note the staff was very nice and helpful.

The hotel is a mixed bag. Staying here is strictly a price over quality decision. The rooms are spacious, the baths are excellent. The air conditioning is in the room and works remarkably well. The breakfast is always has numerous very large fresh bagels, scrambled eggs, oat meal, pancakes and sausage or bacon. Location is good for going to the mountain BUT Bend is small and virtually any hotel on West Side will be close. Its proximity to Oregon State is very good. However, there are some issues. 1. DO NOT STAY ON ANY FLOOR BUT 4TH. I am in a 2nd floor room and every time anyone flushes in a higher room the plumbing sounds like a small subway rushing through the pipes. 2. The hotel is very technology oriented. To buy candy or soda there is an optical scanner and then pay. The scanner did not work well nor did charging to the room. Unless you call on the room phone it is impossible to get the front desk. You are directed to text. 3. You must REQUEST maid service or you will get none. It must be requested a day ahead since the crew only works off a pre-printed form. It is unclear if there is maid service on Saturday. 4. If you are traveling on business and need to work privately in your room, then there is an issue with lighting. There is a single overhead recessed light in my room not quite above the desk. There is no desk lamp. During the day fine. Working at night tough on some eyes. 5. If you firm mattresses and big pillows - seek another hotel.

Room was perfect, clean and spacious for two friends! Walking distance to Everything! Fabulous breakfast! Plus, the price was unbelievable! Also, the staff was kind and helpful! It was my first stay at this hotel and I will most definitely stay again!!!

If you're staying one night or possibly even two nights, I would recommend staying here. If you're staying more than that, skip. What I liked: The location is really good for me for work. Bed and rooms are comfortable. Clean, modern. What needs to improve: Housekeeping is only on the 5th day. This is crazy. And you can't request housekeeping earlier. This also creates a lot of trash in the hallways because people are putting their food out instead of room service taking. The constant texts from front desk reminding about free breakfast and drinks/small bites. There's only two coffee pods. How does this work if service doesn't happen until the 5th day? I asked for more coffee pods and they also brought me towels... But instead of putting them in my room they left them in a plastic garbage bag in front of my door. Tacky. A lot of places do every third day or every other day service. And if you need it earlier, they help. I couldn't get service and stayed 4 nights and got to my room after a full day of work to a bag in front of my door. Just felt odd. I travel almost weekly and have reasonable expectations.

The entire experience was very positive.

Visited family in Touchmark and very convenient for the visit.
