Beppu Kannawa Onsen Oniyama Hotel

The staff is very friendly. The hot spring is the source of the Oniyama Hot Spring. There are two open-air hot springs, both of which are spacious. I checked in late and happened to run into a musical performance. The environment is very good. It is within walking distance of several hells. I am also satisfied with the breakfast and dinner. I will stay here again next time

I was pleasantly surprised that the room was upgraded. It is big enough to sleep four people and has a separate bathing area. The hot spring is very comfortable. The open-air hot spring on the roof can be viewed and soaked in. It is recommended. Dinner was average and not worth it.

The location of the hotel is very good. The Five Hells Hot Spring Street is right behind the hotel (parking lot). It is also convenient to go to the Kannawa 2 office. The hot springs are good and breakfast and dinner are rich.

I booked a tatami room with two meals per stay. The two meals were really average, especially the breakfast was relatively simple. The accommodation was very good, especially quiet and the atmosphere was good. Just outside the parking lot at the back entrance of the hotel is Shiroike Jigoku, which is very close to several hot springs and within walking distance. There are McDonald's, some small restaurants and a Lawson nearby. There is also a medium-sized supermarket next to McDonald's. The overall location is pretty good. Of course it can't be compared to Beppu Station. Fortunately, it's cost-effective.

It is a really historic hotel, and the price is not cheap. My child was stabbed on the sole of his foot by a wooden thorn on the old wooden floor in the changing room of the 6th floor public bath. There were two puncture wounds. The receptionist gave me tweezers, After taking the white syrup and OK, I watched the child cry wildly and the parents were in a hurry without doing anything positive. They went back to the counter. It wasn't until the next day that I reported to the counter supervisor and found out that he didn't speak English. After asking the counter staff to translate, I heard the first "Sorry" and that was how the unpleasant trip ended. All hardware equipment in this hotel is in a usable condition, and the maintenance quality of the hotel owner is very poor. I went to the open-air hot spring on the top floor by myself. The lighting was dim, the equipment was old, and almost no one was using it. It was quite scary. There were only a few placed on the outdoor floor. There are wooden pallets for you to step on. It rained that day, and the outdoor bathing area was completely unprotected, so you took a shower in the rain. The underground gravel floor was also broken in several places. I think many people would have injured their feet. I would like to advise those who want to stay in the hotel to think carefully. If you want to actually experience the style and feel of "Chie Xiao O's Hotel", you can make a reservation as soon as possible.

We were assigned to a room in the east wing on the 5th floor. When we got up to watch the sunrise, we could also see the sea. It was really great. The location was very convenient. There was a station next to it that went directly to Yufuin and Beppu stations. The service staff are also very nice. The hot springs here are very comfortable. There are rooftop ones with sea views and outdoor ones on the first floor. They are both great. It is recommended to go downstairs at night and get up in the morning to go to the rooftop to soak in the hot springs and watch the sunrise😜 The hotel is very close to the Sea Hell, Mud Hell, White Hell and Ghost Hell on foot... They are all next to each other, and it feels good to see smoke everywhere.
