"This hotel is absolutely amazing! It's super convenient, just a 3-5 minute walk from Beppu Station. It's a traditional all-tatami hotel, so you take off your shoes upon entering. On the first floor, there's an ice maker and a coffee machine, which is a nice touch. I booked a random room and was pleasantly surprised to get a twin room. The bathroom has a fantastic wet/dry separation. The private onsen on the top floor was an incredible experience; after a relaxing soak, you can sit by the window, enjoy the night view, and eat ice cream. The complimentary ramen in the evening was delicious, and breakfast was incredibly abundant, with the seafood rice bowl and beef being particularly tasty."

"The hotel building is artistic designed, staff are super helpful and friendly, and fusion dishes at the Peak restaurant are excellent. The environment and surrounding are very pleasant but don’t expect convenience stores nearby.  The only negative thing is they have onsen built in the room. When first stepped into the bedroom, there’s a strong smell of sulfur. The hotel probably wants to address it by having good ventilation such as air freshener machine prior to check in otherwise guests would get the wrong impression of poor/dirty drainage."
