GGuest UserThe room was spacious, and the balcony was also very large with a nice view. The open-air onsen was amazing! The service was excellent. They even had massage devices for body and face. The matcha tea bags were delicious too. I felt a lot of thought went into everything.

YYuanyangmamaMy first trip to Beppu was amazing! I chose this newly opened onsen hotel (opened in 2025) with its private hot spring bath, ocean view, and walk-up access to attractions like the ”Sea Hell” (sea hell). It was such a pleasant surprise! Location/Facilities: The hotel is located on a mountain near Tetsuron Onsen, facing the sea towards Beppu Port. The drive up the mountain involves several winding roads – a little thrilling! Surrounded by trees, with only another hotel and a shrine nearby, it's incredibly peaceful. Our upgraded villa (B-2) was very spacious, with three double beds in the bedroom, a Japanese-style room, living room, dining room, kitchen, courtyard, swimming pool (only in summer), indoor and outdoor onsen baths, outdoor sauna, and two bathrooms. The courtyard was very private, but offered beautiful views of the Beppu sea and the steam rising from the numerous hot springs below. Dining: The package includes dinner and breakfast: Dinner is from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM, with a minimum arrival time of 7:30 PM. Both meals offered a wide selection of food of excellent quality, served on exquisite plates. Each person received a freshly grilled Wagyu beef and abalone for dinner. Breakfast items like eggs, bacon, and sausages were freshly made… Service: The hotel responded very quickly via email (in English) provided by Ctrip, informing us of four free shuttle services from Beppu Station at 2:30/3:30/4:30/5:30 PM. We initially chose 5:30, but changed to 4:30 on the day of the visit without issue. The hotel sent a taxi to pick us up. Upon arrival at the hotel, the receptionist in the lobby could surprisingly speak Chinese and patiently explained the hotel's services and facilities to us! In the evening, after soaking in the hot spring in the courtyard, we noticed many guests were wearing their hotel pajamas to dinner – so relaxing! After breakfast, we didn't use the hotel's free morning shuttle service. Instead, we walked down the mountain to Umi Jigoku (very close), took a city walk to the beach (about 50 minutes), and then rode back to the hotel to collect our luggage/to Beppu Station (4000 yen). The hotel mentioned that if we wanted to use the public hot spring, we could use their sister hotel, a 5-minute walk away – maybe next time! The hotel seemed to be quite busy (there was parking available outside many of the courtyards), but most of the staff spoke Japanese/Korean. I noticed there weren't any reviews yet, so I decided to share my experience of this unforgettable seaside hot spring resort!

SSoLawNestled in the park (you might need to look closely or you'll miss it), this place offers convenient parking and a comfortable environment. The rooms are spacious, and the morning sun rising in the east is simply stunning. Definitely a recommended spot.

AAnonymous UserThe room and the Onsen were EXACTLY like those in the listing and were absolutely stunning! The breakfast was delicious and the range more than adequate. The location is good if you drive but is about 1km walk to Beppu Tower and a bit more from the night street. But I’d happily trade that for the spacious room and the wonderful sea and sunrise view.

GGuest User## Environment: The location is very convenient, just a few minutes' walk from Beppu Station. There's a Lawson nearby and plenty of restaurants. You can walk to the beach in about 10 minutes. On the 3rd floor, there's a free hot spring. If you want to use it, you can pick up a yukata and belt from the toiletries area on the first floor. It's on a lower level, and I didn't see it at first, so I had to come back down to get it. There's a good selection of toiletries, including disposable makeup remover and facial cleanser. ## Cleanliness: The room's cleanliness was decent. The facilities were a bit old but still clean. The hot spring only had two hot pools, one cold pool, and a sauna. There was also an outdoor pool just big enough for one person. You just take off your clothes, rinse off, and then soak. However, when I was soaking, I noticed a lot of what looked like exfoliated dirt floating in the pool. The water circulation didn't seem to be very timely, so I only soaked for a short while and then left. ## Facilities: There's a washing machine and dryer, which I think cost 300 yen per use. The room has a refrigerator, but it doesn't seem to have a microwave; that's probably in a common area. It's quite quiet. ## Service: The service was very friendly. Opposite the restroom on the first floor, there's a self-service luggage storage area where you can set your own password and retrieve your belongings, which is very convenient.

GGuest UserThis hotel is an annex of AMANEK YULA-RE, granting guests access to the main building's 16th-floor public bath (onsen) and 17th-floor outdoor infinity pool and Jacuzzi. **Pros:** 1. **Excellent Location:** It's just a 5-minute walk from the JR station, the bus stop for Fukuoka, and the bus stop for the Beppu Hells. The Fukuoka-bound bus station (located near a shopping mall) is also conveniently reachable within a 10-minute walk. 2. **Stunning Infinity Pool:** The infinity pool offers breathtaking views, including Beppu Tower, and is perfect for photos. Unfortunately, it rained heavily during my stay, so it was deserted during the day. The operating hours are quite reasonable, covering most of the day during my visit. 3. **Impressive Lobby & Dining:** The main building's lobby boasts an impressive design. Dining options are available on the first floor, and at 3300 JPY (approximately 160 RMB), the price is quite reasonable, comparable to what you'd expect at a star-rated hotel in China. 4. **Convenient Amenities & Services:** Shower caps and other amenities are available for collection at the front desk. Luggage storage is also provided. 5. **Spacious & Quiet Rooms:** Rooms are spacious. The hotel is quiet, ensuring a very good night's sleep.

CClean_MartinI've stayed here before, and this time I brought a friend and booked a larger room. It's a historic inn, but the building and decor don't feel old at all. The Japanese-style room has a really nice vibe, and the smell of the tatami mats is so soothing. The room itself is incredibly spacious; I honestly think three or four people could comfortably stay in that one large tatami room. On the top floor, there's a hot spring with one indoor bath, a small outdoor bath, and a small sauna, all using natural hot spring water. The breakfast selection isn't huge, but all the dishes are local specialties or popular items from Oita Prefecture, so you'll definitely eat well and feel full. The downstairs parking used to be free, but now it costs 700 yen per night.

GGuest UserThe hotel location is excellent, right next to Beppu Station – just cross the road from the exit. It has its own hot spring, which is a bit small, but guests can use the hot springs at two other nearby hotels for free. Breakfast is also served at one of those other hotels. The room rate is very affordable for Beppu, offering great value for money.
