The people working here are so nice! I was able to drop my luggage off early before check-in which was sooo appreciated. It’s in a quiet little neighborhood close to the train station. It seems like a lot of the attractions are in Kannawa though which was a 30 minute bus ride away. The rooms were straightforward- one bathroom in the room, not as modern but clean. They provide slippers for your room, and there are privacy curtains around the bed. There’s a kitchen downstairs available to use.

This spacious accommodation is ideal for a family getaway with several members. It was tidy and cozy, making it a pleasant place to stay with my kids. The highlight was the garden outside and the large windows that let in the morning sun, creating a lovely atmosphere for breakfast while gazing outside. Unfortunately, the hot spring was out of order when we got there, but it appeared to be large enough for two people to enjoy. I was initially concerned that the size of the apartment would make it chilly upon arrival, but the heating system was effective, and the place warmed up quickly.

The check-in is really complicated, and the guidelines are not concentrated or clear. I have filled in all the information of the occupants. After I arrived, I didn't know which building. Finally, I didn't park at the door to judge which building I booked. Entering the door, I have to find the door password from the owner's email and enter the door with the password (the owner sent too many emails in advance, which caused me to be seriously dazzled. After reading it, I forgot. I contacted Trip customer service urgently. Fortunately, the customer service helped me solve it). After entering the door, I contacted the owner on the iPad to confirm the new entry. The resident information, the address is not enough to fill in Hong Kong. You must carefully go to which house. If it is hot and tired, you have to fill in the address once for everyone. Although the homestay is very clean, it is still not recommended. Next time there are other choices or choose another one. There is only one bathroom, which is seriously not enough. Please pay attention to ⚠️ for more than 5 people.

Until the day of check in, I never receive any check in procedure and I had to call customer service and wait for the line transferring. They did not limit the parking for every unit and I had no parking available but I saw one of the unit had parked 4 cars there. I called for help on no hot spa water coming out but they answered they could not do anything for me. Overall experience was good

We stayed here as a couple and loved every moment. The room was clean, beautifully designed, and felt relaxing as soon as we walked in. After enjoying the private onsen bath made of wood and stone, we watched a movie on the projector while lying on the tatami, which felt so cozy and special. The amenities were carefully selected and felt high-quality, adding to the relaxing stay. You can tell the host cares about every detail. If you want authentic Japanese experience with your partner, this place is a perfect choice.

I think the staff is very kind. It was a tasteful inn, and the open-air bath was very comfortable and awesome. We used it without meals. The location is good, so there are convenience stores and coin laundry that can be walked from the inn, so it is easy to use. It was good that it was easy to access in a place close to tourist spots.

I booked this guesthouse while coming from Fukuoka. It was an 8-person dormitory. It had bunk beds. I slept on the first floor for three nights. The wooden beds creaked and creaked whenever I moved. The beds next to me also made noises when I moved. I woke up too often during my sleep. This was a major drawback. The kitchen and lounge were convenient to use. The bathrooms were clean. The sauna had showers. The hot sauna facilities were nice. The staff were friendly. It's convenient to travel from Beppu Station to Oita and Yufuin. The Beppu Ropeway is convenient. The beach is just a 10-minute walk away, offering stunning ocean views.
