"I had a pleasant stay at Labersa Balige. The service was excellent—staff were friendly, helpful, and made us feel very welcome throughout our visit. The food was decent, with a good variety of local and international options that were enjoyable overall. One thing that could be improved is the addition of a fitness facility. Having a gym on-site would definitely enhance the guest experience, especially for those staying longer or wanting to maintain their workout routine. Overall, a comfortable hotel with warm hospitality. Looking forward to seeing future upgrades!"

"Service is excellent, food delicious, and prices reasonable. Dining room is comfortable and up-to-date. The Manager was personable: helped me pronounce basic Czech words, introduced me to Czech specialty foods, and suggested places to visit. The gnocchi with pork tenderloin was melt -in-the-mouth delicious and the apple strudel divine. The Czech digestif, “Becherovka” an herbal liqueur, was a great finish for the dinner. The best part was a visit from the chef to make sure we were happy."

"Fantastic resort at Samosir island, typical of what one might expect from a 5 star resort. Island weather was a cooling 20 degrees but the water in the pool is warm, so you could enjoy it even in the evening. Oh not to mention the view. The outdoor equipments like bicycles, e-scooters, electric cars are very well maintain, so you could rent it with peace of mind."

"Clean rooms, freshly renovated, hot water, and excellent internet. No power outages, even when the surrounding area lost electricity. The friendly and hospitable owner, Dimmer, met us at the pier in his car, drove us there when we checked out, and even took us to local parks – all for free. They also rent out bikes in perfect condition. The hotel is located right on the lake in Tuktuk village, which is very convenient. Definitely recommend!"

"From the very first moment I contacted the hotel through WhatsApp to arrange transport and the day trip, until the moment I checked out, I was truly happy with the service they offered. The staff always greeted guests with a warm smile whenever we passed by the reception, which made us feel very welcomed throughout our stay. We were also served a welcome drink upon check-in, and the team even assisted with our luggage from the ferry drop-off all the way to our room. The hospitality was excellent. The day trip covered many interesting places and was very enjoyable. The only small suggestion I would give is that it would be even better if the trip included a recommendation for a good local food place or provided takeaway lunch, as we were unfamiliar with the food options here and didn’t know which places served tasty food. Another small issue was the water heater in the room, which was not working consistently. The water would start hot and then suddenly turn cold after a while. However, this did not change our overall experience at all. We truly enjoyed our stay and appreciated the kindness and professionalism from the team. Special thanks to reception staff Yuliati and Monica, as well as Angel from the restaurant, who always served us with a smile every time.
