"Checking into this hotel was a bit of a hassle, but the overall experience was excellent. The hotel's sea view and room design were beautiful. I took many photos there. Due to my personal health condition, I had a full-body allergic reaction after soaking in the hotel's hot spring for half an hour. I contacted the front desk in the middle of the night, but they didn't have any allergy medication. The only downside was that there were no shops or pharmacies nearby, so I walked four kilometers round trip in the middle of the night to buy some. To express their apology, the hotel extended my check-out time by three hours. Overall, the hotel service, facilities, and scenery were all excellent. I hope to have the opportunity to vacation there again in the future."

Amazing
AAnonymous UserThis is an excellent hotel. It's nestled on a mountain overlooking the ocean, offering beautiful scenery. The hot springs are fantastic, and they even have private baths available for an extra charge. Dinner was superb; we had Japanese cuisine in an elegant setting. The Japanese chef was very professional, and the dishes were outstanding. Breakfast was semi-buffet style and also delicious. The rooms are spacious, well-equipped, very clean, and offer sea views.

MM502128****This was my second stay here because I had such a good experience the first time, mainly due to the great value for money. The room was quite spacious, and it seems the hotel has been renovated in recent years, as it was clean and tidy. Although both breakfast and dinner were buffets, the quality was good. For breakfast, I made myself a lavish seafood rice bowl with plenty of fish roe! The hot springs were also nice; I went straight for the outdoor pool.
GGuest UserWe changed room type when we got to the hotel (from Seaside Maisonette to one of the Tower apartments) and this was seamlessly offered to us by the night staff. Service is top notch. Great for families. The food is wonderful and there is private onsen in every single room.
Highly recommend for families of up to 4 persons to stay in the tower apartments. They are very new and well furnished.
GGuest UserThe service was incredibly attentive. Since it's in a new building, the facilities are also brand new. The view is unbeatable, and I'll definitely stay here again. Just a heads-up: after September 1, 2025, any additional towels or bottled water beyond what's provided in the room will incur an extra charge.
GGuest UserThe location is pretty good because it’s private. It’s suit for guest comes with the car. About 15 mins drive to downtown.
The room was big with private onsen, clean and simple.
The facility is only the public onsen, which is indoor with no view. The breakfast is quite basic, the taste could be more outstanding.

MMoon RockThe staff is friendly and speaks English well; the place is quiet and cozy, and the location is perfect. It’s almost a distance to Beppu tourist attractions, especially the Beppu tower and Beppu JR stations. The hostel is also located near the port area, where you can relax and take a break.
The hostel also has a cafe, a spacious kitchen, and an artificial hot spring. Although some amenities are not included, you have to purchase them at the front desk, the accommodation cost is relatively cheap, so that’s okay. It's a good thing I have my own towels and other amenities.
I will definitely be back here when I return.
GGuest UserThe capsule was clean and very well-located, less than a 10-minute walk from Beppu Station and just 5 minutes from Takegawara Onsen, where you can enjoy a unique sand bath!
The on-site onsen with a sauna, which is included in the price, was a fantastic amenity.
Just one thing to note: there are no showers on the capsule floor, so you'll need to use the facilities within the onsen area.
TTengqisizhiKannawa is close to many attractions, and the owners are friendly. Translation software made communication smooth, and I confirmed my dining and check-out times upon arrival. The rooms were clean and quiet, and the open-air baths were practically like having your own private bath during off-peak hours. The area was safe at night, and you could freely wander around Kannawa. I visited Beppu's eight hot springs and seven hells, and around 11 PM, I also went to the nearby Kura Onsen. Since Kura was deserted at night, I essentially had it all to myself. The meal includes the hell bath, so you don't need to eat there repeatedly. Providing a menu would be even better.

GGuest UserIt is an old ryokan.
The bathroom also needs to be equipped with hot and cold water.
The size of the room is satisfactory.
It's very cold, but you can control the heater.
Although it is a weekend, the price is too expensive and you have to pay a 1000 yen hot spring tax even if you do not use the hot spring when you check out.
