This is my first time staying at a hot spring hotel. I am very satisfied. The scenery is beautiful and there is an outdoor open-air hot spring. You can wear a swimsuit to soak in it, but it is not open from December to February. I will book this hot spring hotel again next time to soak in the hot springs.

The place is relatively remote, but the environment is quiet. There are no restaurants nearby, but the hot spring facilities are good.

The hotel is very clean, and there is an outdoor and indoor hot spring bath. The only bad thing is that the transportation is inconvenient, there are not many buses, so you have to plan your time, otherwise you will have to wait for a long time. Breakfast was good, but the food was cold.

We couldn't rent a car, so we came to Beppu by bus from Fukuoka. I applied for pick-up service from the hotel. If you are coming by train or bus, I recommend making a reservation in advance as it is far from the hotel. There were groups of people, but it wasn't noisy. Outdoor hot springs (swimsuit required) It's too cold in the winter. I wish there were thick robes. The rest was really good, especially the people at the reception who were really friendly.

It's a really clean hotel. The hot spring outside on the first floor was also interesting. However, what is disappointing is that the temperature of the water is too lukewarm for a hot spring. I wish there was a hotter bath. Also, during my last stay, while coming out of the outdoor hot spring bath, I slipped on my slippers and sprained my foot. It was a golf trip, but because of the accident, I had to play golf on the second day. I ruined it...^^;. What I would like to ask the hotel to do is to provide thorough guidance on precautions when using the outside hot springs and the mandatory wearing of slippers for the outside hot springs. I don't know if it was because it was closing time in the evening, but it felt like the foreign front desk staff was giving very vague guidance. Because of the lack of guidance, I didn't even know that there were slippers for outside hot springs. Anyway, from next time, it would be good if you pay more careful attention to the details, as befits a good hot spring in a famous hot spring tourist destination in Japan. The hotel itself was very good. The internal environment and facilities are also very good.
