This hotel is located on a mountain, making it more suitable for guests with their own transportation. The staff are friendly and helpful, assisting with luggage to the room and proactively introducing the various hotel facilities. The room is very spacious, with a private onsen, and the beautiful views from the window create a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere. The traditional Japanese breakfast is rich and delicious!

Room: neat clean space. lights and Aircon . the area between the beds is very spacious and there are large lockers so plenty of space to store your stuff . Bathroom: two normal showers and a large shower room where you can rent a bath hammock thing. three vanity sinks in this bathroom, then there's a toilet room with three toilets and three sinks, so lots of options. shampoo conditioner and body wash supplied. decent hairdryer. washing machine 300 yen, then dryer 100 yen per 15 mins. Security: pin code on dormitory. Amenities: there is a kitchen space and you can also order food from the 5th floor of the tower to the hostel lounge. Location: about ten minute walk from the station. plenty of eating places and shops nearby. there is a bus stop right outside. Other: might be useful if there were bins in the dormitory rather than having to go back and forth between the lounge. hooks in the bed area might also be useful e.g. for hanging your towel, although I suppose you could put it in your locker

It takes about ten minutes to walk to the bus terminal and the nearest convenience store. The hotel is very close to Baichi Hot Spring, about a three-minute walk, which is very convenient. The cleanliness of the hotel is very high, and the rooms are large. There is an indoor hot spring and an outdoor hot spring in the room. However, there should be some additives in the hot spring, and the family members have a little allergies after soaking. In addition, the hotel also has a family hot spring, the hot spring is very large, the environment is also good. The staff were enthusiastic and courteous. Because we lost a piece of hand luggage on the bus, the staff not only helped us call to find it, but also taught us how to claim it, which really helped us a lot. The meal is exquisite, but the taste is average, and everyone may have different tastes. Probably because I have stayed in a lot of hot spring hotels, in contrast I think the price of this one is relatively high.

I was very impressed with this ryokan stay. We chose a Family Room, which comfortably accommodated four of us. The room had two air conditioners, keeping it pleasantly cool throughout our stay. The overall atmosphere was warm and peaceful, truly ideal for a relaxing getaway. The service was also very impressive, especially from the elderly gentleman and the male staff member who gave excellent advice. They were attentive and friendly. The other female staff were also lovely and provided equally great service. The ryokan also has an onsen for a relaxing soak, and the location is convenient, with easy access to a nearby mall close to Beppu Tower. Overall, it was a very memorable ryokan experience, and it's a place I'd love to visit again.

Beppu Kaizan Accommodation Review If I were to summarize my experience staying at Beppu Kaizan, the most impressive thing was the private open-air bath in the room. In particular, the structure of this open-air bath naturally extending from the indoors to the outdoors was truly legendary. When I soaked my body indoors and then went outside, I felt a sense of openness and was able to maximize the charm of the hot spring. Good points ✔ Private open-air bath structure – Hot spring naturally extending from the indoors to the outdoors, allowing for private healing ✔ Large pot provided – Convenient because you can boil water yourself ✔ Location – Approximately 2,350 yen by taxi from Beppu Station (Kaizan will call you a taxi directly) If you want to enjoy a private hot spring in a quiet environment, Beppu Kaizan is definitely a satisfactory choice.

Went with a friend this time. They have free hot springs/baths, and it wasn't too crowded. The best part is it's super, super cheap and the location is very convenient, easily accessible whether you have a car or not.

There is only 2 parking lots on site and it’s 1st come 1st serve. We arrived at about 7pm and there were no lots available and had the challenge to park somewhere else and pay Y700 from 9pm to 9am. There is no lift in the building and we have to drag our luggage for about 5 mins from the nearby paid parking and up the flight of stairs to 2nd floor. There is very poor room amenities. No towels for 3 of us only face towels. Also no cups, coffee or tea or water. However there is a hot water flask. I cannot imagine how do drink . We went thirsty the whole night. This is the worst place. Don’t stay here at all!

Location is near supermarket and family mart. A few Coin parking locations near the house. First floor has 2 rooms ＜1 double bed and 1 with twin beds＞ but no space for luggages, a small washing basin at the corner of the staircase. 1 wc and 2 showers at first floor. Washing machine ＜no dryer＞ on the first floor. 1 wc on 2nd floor. Living room on 3 floor. 2nd floor has 2 rooms ＜1 with 2 double beds and 1 single bed, another with a single bed＞. 2 washing basin on 2nd floor inside the rooms. It's not possible to bring big luggage up to narrow and steep staircase.no mirror on 1st floor so nid to climb up to wash and brush teeth. We wish the living room was the 1st floor. The music from nearby is bearable. Only know how to manage the water heater on 2nd day. Suggestion to include rubbish bins on the first and 2nd floor. Add a mirror on first floor.

The facility itself was very spacious and clean. There was a place on the wall where paper was pasted, and you could see the equipment inside, which was a little creepy, but other than that, everything was fine and I had a comfortable stay. There are only three parking spaces, so I walked around after parking. There are a few hot springs nearby, but not many of them are well-known. If you plan to go to one of those, you'll probably need to drive.

Despite it says ocean view, there is only carpark view. And the building in the picture is actually not the bnb you will be staying at. It is the hotel where you will get the key. One aircon doesn't work and stopped multiple times when it gets too hot in the living room at first, we tried a couple of times turning it on again but still the temperature in the room is still very hot until we go out to the balcony and open the windows there. The wifi also doesn't work during our stay. It has free parking though which is convenient and there are lots of eating places and supermarkets around. Our unit doesn't have washing machine so make sure when you book, you book the one equipped with it (but when you book, the description is not very clear). There is no person stationed there so you have to get the key from another hotel which is around 1km away, so not suggested for travelers without cars.
