"Loved this hotel. The location is great, and the staff were very helpful throughout my stay. I got a room with a view of the parking lot, which wasn’t the best, but it was still fine. You can also open the window, which I really appreciated. The room wasn’t very big, but it was clean, and the bed was large and very comfortable. The layout was also well thought out — there was plenty of space to sit and enough convenient places to put your things. My favorite part was definitely the onsen — just wow. There was one large indoor bath with an incredible city view (especially impressive since it’s on the top floor), and my absolute favorite was the smaller outdoor onsen. You could just lie back, look out over the city, and relax. What I especially loved was that even though it was cold outside, the water temperature was perfectly hot. The rooftop pool was also fantastic. The water was heated, and the view from there was just as incredible. The only downside for me was the number of people. There were a lot of tourists, so breakfast could get quite crowded, but if you go at the right time, it’s much better.  after opening time it will be ok."

"Our stay has been nothing short of amazing! We were grateful for hotel shuttle service to the hotel as it saves us the trouble of climbing up slopes with our luggages. When we arrived, we were greeted by the warm welcome of the staff with free drinks provided at the lounge. The Sora Room is well equipped with amenities and comes with the private onsen, for you to enjoy any time. Recommend to get the ice (outside room) for a cool ice coke after onsen. Definitely have to give the Japanese breakfast and Kaiseiki dinner a try. Every single dish is so delicious and palatable. The hotel is located at Kanawa, within walking distances to the popular attractions such as Hells of Beppu and Onsen Museum. Will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who visits Beppu!"

"The entire hotel has a Japanese-style design, and you have to take off your shoes and store them in the lobby upon entering. The hot spring is on the top floor and features 7 family baths, available on a first-come, first-served basis. I'd heard good things about the dinner at the downstairs restaurant, but by the time we checked in, it was already fully booked for the night and they only serve guests with reservations. So, if you plan to dine there, make sure to book in advance! We drove here, but it seems very convenient if you take the JR, as the hotel is only about 100 meters from Beppu Station."

"Very pleased with our one night stay at Beppu Daiiti Hotel. It was a short 5-minute walk to the Beppu Station. So convenient. Room was very clean and tidy and of a decent size. The staff at the counter were all so courteous and very helpful. Asked them about a private onsen where we could go and they recommended one and phoned to help us make reservations. Also gave us good info about Beppu Hells and the transportation we could take. If coming back to Beppu, we’ll surely book at this hotel again."

"## Environment: The location is very convenient, just a few minutes' walk from Beppu Station. There's a Lawson nearby and plenty of restaurants. You can walk to the beach in about 10 minutes. On the 3rd floor, there's a free hot spring. If you want to use it, you can pick up a yukata and belt from the toiletries area on the first floor. It's on a lower level, and I didn't see it at first, so I had to come back down to get it. There's a good selection of toiletries, including disposable makeup remover and facial cleanser. ## Cleanliness: The room's cleanliness was decent. The facilities were a bit old but still clean. The hot spring only had two hot pools, one cold pool, and a sauna. There was also an outdoor pool just big enough for one person. You just take off your clothes, rinse off, and then soak. However, when I was soaking, I noticed a lot of what looked like exfoliated dirt floating in the pool. The water circulation didn't seem to be very timely, so I only soaked for a short while and then left. ## Facilities: There's a washing machine and dryer, which I think cost 300 yen per use. The room has a refrigerator, but it doesn't seem to have a microwave; that's probably in a common area. It's quite quiet. ## Service: The service was very friendly. Opposite the restroom on the first floor, there's a self-service luggage storage area where you can set your own password and retrieve your belongings, which is very convenient."

"The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from Beppu Station. It was raining on the day we arrived, so we took a taxi which cost around 50 HKD. We had a fantastic sea-view room. Although the facilities were a bit old, they were very well maintained. The breakfast was abundant and also served in a restaurant with an amazing sea view. A truly great experience."

"It's a historic hotel with a hot spring culture. Located on a mountain, it's inaccessible by public transportation; a taxi from the station costs around 100 RMB, but calling a taxi is convenient. The hotel has three private hot springs, marked with round signs outside. You can enter when you see an empty one, but there will be someone inside. Most rooms have private hot springs, and they are very nice. It's best to book a room with a private hot spring, as the other rooms are quite basic and not as refined as those around Mount Fuji. The cleanliness is also just average; the tables were dusty. Dinner is Japanese cuisine, beautiful and delicious, with fresh ingredients. Prices have increased significantly during the National Day holiday; the usual price of around 3000 RMB is quite good."

"Pros: The hostel is clean and provides a drink bar with hot and cold beverages including soups. They also have mangas and a few video games provided. The room is spacious and comfortable. Cons: The location is about 10-15 mins from the Beppu station, but close to Donki Beppu and convenient stores. However, they DO NOT support early or late check-in. They asked us to leave the baggage unchecked and unattended when we arrived early. The point where we disappointed was the notification of the check-in time. Most hotels/ hostels in Japan support early or late check-in but seems like they don’t have enough staff for that. We didn’t realize the the check-in is required by 8pm. They called us around 7:10pm-ish to inform the check-in deadline time. And we tried to negotiate cuz we was very far away and was in the mountains. We called them back cuz we tried to speed up but it almost caused an accident. The answer we got was NOT SUPPORTIVE. They only said customers had to read the check-in time on the website (Trip.com) and they couldn’t wait even we said we would be late for 5-10 minutes at the fastest pace of our journey. Luckily, there was a group of customers who was checking when we arrived (20:05 pm) so we could check-in."

"The location is perfect! There's a bus stop right outside the hotel and it's only 100 meters from the JR station, with plenty of restaurants nearby. The free breakfast and complimentary evening drinks are genuinely good. The only downside is the tiny bathroom. I'm under 160cm and weigh 90 jin, and even I found it cramped... But for the price in Beppu, it's still decent. If you plan on being out and about all day, this place is a good fit."
