Although the building and rooms are undeniably old, the hotel still functions well due to its location in front of Beppu Station. The TV in the room was large at 42 inches, and the bath with a view on the 8th floor was a hot spring in Beppu, and soothed the fatigue of a hot summer trip. I was really moved by the fireworks display in Beppu, which I could see from both my hotel room and the observation bath.
