The eMakhosini Boutique Hotel is disappointment .We went there for live music , we ordered a meat platter. The platter presentation was a mess, some cut up boerewors as if the were short of one item, freezer burnt hotdog roll, it was an unpleasant experience. The price on the platter is different to what we were charged, and were billed double. Beverages are extremely expensive for the service provided. Order yourself a rock shandy & see charge. You cannot tip waiters via bank card, because the ESTABLISHMENT CLAIMS THE TIPS. Luckily on that day, I had cash , and tipped. Owners of a business need to distinguish between the premises being your buddies hang out joint or a business premises. The friends were so overwhelming into our space. The owner went to fiddle with the sound system whislts the band took a break, why show off? Let your professionals you hired run the show. I don't know who is the restaurant manager, whoever was chilling on the sofa and having meaningless small talk with the waiters, as if she is in her house, left a bad taste. There is no website either than third party representation like Facebook, Bookings.com , Agoda, TripAdvisor etc. PS when you have gig, brief your staff. Totally disappointed, please do home work on furniture, its a very congested space.
