Smoezelige kamer. 25 jaar vergane glorie. Een en al treurigheid. Hotel lobby uitgestorven. Barman moet opgeroepen worden. Tapijt vies en vlekken. Ongelooflijk dat dit nog bestaat. Restaurant zou Michelin waardig zijn. Vergeet dit maar.

This hotel’s main asset is its location. In the lower city, on the main road/area for bars, shops, restaurants and nightlife. Only a short stroll to the funicular for access to Citta Alta. Breakfast was pretty good with extensive range of fruits, cereals, hot and cold meats etc. We actually were staying in the adjacent accommodation so can’t comment on the rooms in the main hotel building. Our accommodation was quite adequate, and well cleaned each day. The bar in the hotel was very quiet, and not attractive if you appreciate a little a**osphere, however loads of lively bars and restaurants are nearby. All in all, we were happy with the overall experience

The rooms are spacious and the furniture is a little outdated but acceptable. The location is perfect for visiting the upper city on foot and the breakfast is excellent. I recommend being more careful with the bath towels as some arrived torn, while the room was clean.
