Very good location, fantastic view, really friendly staff and nice art design of the room. The only thing that we don't like is a breakfast (but the area is full of good restaurants).

Hôtel en plein centre du quartier historique dans une zone de restriction de circulation. Les chambres sont très belles et grandes, petit balcon, tout le centre historique est au pied de l'hôtel ainsi que les commerces et restaurants. L'hôtel n'a pas de parking, et est dans une zone de restriction, il faut demander à l'hôtel de réserver une place dans un parking public à 200/300m et qu'ils fassent le nécessaire pour déclarer votre voiture sur un site internet pour ne pas avoir à payer une amande, ce qu'ils font aisément! Du coup, il faut trainer ou porter ses bagages du parking jusqu'à l'hôtel dans des rues pavées qui défoncent les roulettes des valises et comme la réception est au 1er étage d'un immeuble il faut encore monter les bagages de la rue au 1 étage via un escalier étroit. Après l'hôtel est équipé d'un ascenseur pour l'accès aux chambres.

Das Hotel ist wirklich sehr schön und ein typischer Altstadt Bau. Mitten in der Altstadt gelegen, ist man sehr schnell überall zu Fuß. Wir sind vom Flughafen mit dem Bus Linie 1 gefahren und waren nach 10 Minuten zu Fuß beim Hotel. Das Personal war sehr freundlich.

This was a very cute hotel about a minute for the square with plenty of shops and bars nearby. The staff were lovely and the breakfast spread was ok. The only thing to be aware of it that if the lift breaks (which it did twice whilst we were there) and you are not on the ground floor where you can tell someone - finding your way down the various stairs etc is quite difficult. It wasn’t clear where to go and when we eventually found our way down. If you were on your way out and had your bags this could cause a delay or an issue. Our taxi driver also really struggled to find it with the one way systems etc - we got him from the airport and he was quite new - in the end we had to walk quite a long way uphill to get there. Might be easier on the bus!

The location of this hotel is perfect for exploring the Citta Alta, Begrgamo located close to the Piazza Vecchia. The staff upon arrival were absolutely delightful and most helpful throughout our stay. We were offered a room upgrade which was very welcome indeed. Our room was spotlessly clean, spacious with an excellent shower room with all the essential components. An excellent tv and a coffee machine were standard. The staff were very willing to provide milk for us English tea drinkers in our room! Our only criticism would be that it was a little dark with limited lighting but this is a minor observation! The views from our double aspect room were stunning. A small balcony was a real bonus but we didn't manage to enjoy this given the cold weather in January. Our booking included breakfast which was served in the dining room. There was an excellent choice for breakfast including meats and cheeses, bread, toast, fruit and cereals. The pastries and croissants were every inviting. The dining room also doubled as a small bar in the evenings. There is a lift from the first floor but with steep steps up to the reception area on the first floor with a stair lift for those with difficulty climbing the stairs. There are plenty of super restaurants within a very short walk from the hotel. All of the sights are also within easy reach. Highly recommended.

Great hotel in the heart of Bergamo's old town. Excellent choice if you want to be minutes away from bars, restaurants and the cities medieval sites. Despite its location, the room was quiet and comfortable. There is a flight of stairs to reception then lift access to other floors. Room was spacious, stylish and well appointed. Bathroom was excellent with loads of room. Staff were very helpful and assisted in any way they could. I would definitely recommend if you want to experience the best of Bergamo.

Sono appena tornata da un soggiorno troppo breve all'Hotel Piazza Vecchia e non potrei che ripensare con affetto alla meravigliosa accoglienza che ho ricevuto da tutti i ragazzi dello staff, preparati, cordiali, disponibili, con cui si è instaurato fin da subito un'empatia speciale che mi ha fatto sentire tra amici. L'hotel è una vera chicca, le camere sono bellissime, spaziose, super pulite e dotate di tutti i comfort. La colazione molto varia, composta da prodotti freschi, di qualità, dolci e salati, anche per intolleranti al glutine/lattosio. La posizione poi è fantastica, nel pieno centro di Bergamo Alta, ma facilmente raggiungibile dalla stazione in bus/taxi in pochi minuti. Ritorneremo prestissimo! Buon lavoro, ragazzi! Gemma
