I was assigned a corner room. It was very nice. The room with a courtyard view seemed a little dark. The breakfast was delicious. The location is good and the area is safe. There is a coop nearby, so it was convenient.

Very quiet, good for rest. Breakfast is also good. It is very close to the attractions and within walking distance to the fish market and the old town. In spring, the flowers bloom very well and beautifully. When the sun comes out, the sky is very blue and clean.

I had an amazing experience during my two nights stay at Heimen hotel: Nice staff, great breakfast (lots of options) with kind staff and excellent service, quiet room with a beautiful view of an alley in Bergen, and awesome location. According to the hotel, Heimen is the oldest hotel in Bergen. I had to say that I did compare it with the Scandic next door. I ended up choosing Heimen. I am now happy to say that I do not regret for my choice!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Heimen Hotel and was warmed by the exceptional service. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was greeted with warmth and genuine hospitality that set the tone for the entire stay. The staff that worked the shift during my arrival at 6 in the morning demonstrated a level of attentiveness and professionalism that exceeded my expectations. She anticipated my needs before I even had to ask. Whether it was arranging early checkin, providing luggage storage, recommendations; she did so with grace and efficiency One standout feature of the hotel was their breakfast spread. The kitchen Team did a great job providing delicious and scrumptious breakfast to the people staying at Heimen Hotel. Moreover, the cleanliness and comfort of the accommodations were top-notch. The room was immaculate, with heated floor in the bathroom, water heater. Overall, the stay at Heimen Hotel was a memorabld and unforgettable experience. From the checkin to the breakfast spread, every guest would feel warmed by its people running the hotel

Best breakfast in Bergen. Lift out of action but receptionist carried my case up two flights of stairs. Staff very helpful and friendly. Called us a cab and let us make tea when we arrived back very wet. Really liked the ambience of the dining room beautifully decorated in modern Norwegian style. Well done we will be back.

We had a very comfortable stay for 3 nights, including a 2am arrival where we were cheerily greeted and made to feel welcome. The hotel was comfortable, clean and warm. The buffet breakfast had a good selection of food, and free tea and coffee were available for guests through the day. We even had some complimentary cake one afternoon. The location is very good, being across from Bryggen and a short walk to everywhere.

Very welcoming hotel with friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere. Lovely room. Very quiet and relaxing. Bed was REALLY comfortable. Great shower. Breakfast options were great, lots of choice but ‘hot’ food would have been better if it were actually served hot and the carrot sticks would be better peeled fresh each day. Nobody dives in to day old carrots. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate throughout the day was a really nice touch. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. Super place to stay.
