Mercure Luxembourg Off Kirchberg

The front desk service attitude was very bad. I don't know if there was discrimination against Asians. First, my friend asked him about parking at the front desk, but he ignored me. It was the guest next to him who told me kindly. Then, when checking in, because we were not on the same floor, we asked if there was anyone else on the same floor and whether our room rate included breakfast. He replied coldly: no. But later, another guest checked in and said yes. After we checked in, we wanted to ask him about some fees, but he was gone...

Mercure Luxembourg is the worst hotel I stayed in during my trip to Europe. The gentleman at the front desk had a terrible service attitude! When I entered the room, there were hats left by other guests, which was obviously not cleaned. The teapot was broken and the paper towels were not replaced with new ones.

The service attitude of the front desk was problematic. They asked us to wait while they were dealing with the things at hand. We drove to the private parking lot below the hotel but couldn't get stuck. We asked for help, but the front desk ignored us and said they only handle check-in. They also ignored us during the check-in process.

The receptionist was very kind and efficient. The accommodation was for 2 adults and 2 children. The sofa turned into a bed, so the space was much smaller, but overall it was acceptable! The breakfast was very good, and both adults and children enjoyed it... Although it is a bit far from the attractions, Luxembourg Transportation is free, and there is a bus stop right outside the hotel, so it is very convenient!

Overall, it was okay. I stayed at their home for 10 consecutive nights. Tuesdays and Wednesdays were very expensive and the rooms were tight. Poor math at the front desk is a common problem in European hotels. If you are not careful, you may have paid them how much money you paid. Pay attention to your bills and credit card bills:)
