Stayed for 1 night, bed was very comfortable, restaurant was amazing all the staff friendly, food was fantastic at night time and breakfast. Nicest food I've had in a restaurant in a long time, would definitely stay again. The only down side was, the window wouldn't open to let in fresh air, there was a rusty old toilet brush holder in bathroom with rust rings left on the floor, needs a bit domestos & a good scrub to remove rust marks & Hotel should remove the rusty toilet brush holders, & replace with plastic or ceramic. Bar was a bit bright & felt like a library environment. A lovely place though in a beautiful area & don't let the little negative things put you off staying. Take a pair slippers for the room, I forgot mine.

A lovely stay! The bedrooms are spacious and tastefully furnished; the staff helpful and pleasant and the surroundings are lovely. We had a lovely welcome on arrival and an excellent breakfast before we departed. We hope to stay here again.

Had a lovely overnight stay with family to celebrate a birthday. Gorgeous spotlessly clean rooms spacious bathrooms and beautiful views. We enjoyed delicious complimentary canapés in the bar followed by a really lovely dinner. We all chose different items and all very much enjoyed our meals. Staff were all friendly and very efficient. After a blissful night's sleep and a tasty breakfast we headed home, but will definitely return and soon.

Absolutely beautiful hotel in a lovely area. We booked a classic room for one night and it was perfect. The garden view was lovely, the room itself spacious, and the bathroom clean and modern. Staff were very pleasant and breakfast was tasty and service efficient. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Really enjoyed our one night DBB stay at this lovely Georgian Manor House. The Junior suite was very comfortable with a very large and luxurious bathroom. The staff were all very friendly and keen to please and the dining room service was very efficient. There was plenty of choice on the menu and the food was very good and well presented. We have already booked a return visit which we are really looking forward to.

We were warmly welcomed on our first night and loved the relaxed atmosphere of the lounge and bar area. The rooms with seaview were comfortable with individual decor. Travelling with another couple we were allocated next door rooms and were able to relax in the lounge with cocktails and canapes before dinner. The dinner menu provided excellent options and as DB&B was exceptional value. Dinner and breakfast were perfect - with very attentive buy not intrusive staff. The location on the Border provided a great place to explore the coast both North and South. We definitely return in future.

This is a lovely hotel, within easy reach of Berwick and the border areas. The room was spotlessly clean and well appointed, molton brown toiletries etc. we ate at the restaurant, which was very nice, and breakfast was sumptuous. Only issue I had was that the bed was too hard for me, but wouldn’t stop me using the hotel again.
