Diamond Island Resort & Bicheno Penguin Show Reviews

DIAMOND resort rooms are spacious and clean. The hotel only cater dinner (not free) thus we have to settle breakfast and lunch somewhere else.

The hotel environment, location and scenery are very good, but don't come here just to see the penguins, because there are only 30 penguins at most and only 2 at least

The environment is so beautiful, you can see little penguins at night

The room is very comfortable. The bed is quite big. It's no problem for two adults to take a nap. The car can be driven to the door. When you go out in the morning, there will be a group of bleating sheep. On the other side is the lawn. It’s a short walk to the penguin viewing platform. At night, two families watch it. The hotel gave a red flashlight. It’s very interesting to see a lot of penguins. In the morning, I went to explore the penguin’s nest. It's a perfect hotel to go for a run through the beach to Diamond Island opposite.

The penguins will return at 9:30 pm, and the staff will take guests to visit the outdoors.

The environment is first-class facing the sea. You can see kangaroos on the grass. At night, the staff will take you to watch the little penguins return to their nests.

The bathroom is very small
