It is a B&B run by a couple. It is clean and tidy. There is a bathroom in the room, but you have to go to the first floor to take a bath. The Western breakfast is good. We stayed three nights at Megumiyuki. It is an unpretentious facility but it provided us with a perfect home from home. The pension is tranquil but a short distance from Biei and its facilities. Yorisho and his wife are great hosts and also provide a sumptuous breakfast. Yorisho’s English is good and he provided us with lots of invaluable travel advice.

It was so satisfying. It takes about 30 minutes on foot from Biei Station, but the owner of the pension drove us to Biei Station by private car. The two owners of the pension are very kind. The pension was also very emotional, and if I go to Biei again, I will definitely stay at this pension. Breakfast also seemed to be packed with sincerity. It was so delicious. I traveled alone, but I got along well for 2 nights and 3 days.
