I have stayed at the Huntley in the past, but on this trip we stayed in the Shoshone. and I really need to tell you about it. Every aspect of this stay has been perfect (well, not true, a grill available for use on the patio would have made it perfect), but the MOST perfect part was the amazing service from Emily G. at the concierge desk. Let me explain. I travel a lot in the ski industry, and spend a lot at Boyne properties. Unfortunately, I had been slow to understand the Boyne Rewards program, and I had a ton of points in multiple accounts, and others that never got applied. Emily helped me work it out, contacting other Boyne properties and getting the necessary receipts sent. I am so accustomed to people passing the buck when it comes to working out issues like mine, I was shocked to find Emily stayed on point that day, resolving the issues with my account (I spent all my points at the Solace Spa at Big Sky). Emily is a model employee, and Boyne is lucky to have her! I'm not done raving though. We also got EXCEPTIONAL housekeeping service. Our housekeeper for the majority of our stay was so attentive to detail-- she cleaned our dishes and emptied the dishwasher every day, managed to work around the mess and bags, skis and camera equipment strewn about. I have never had this level of housekeeping service before. In the past two years I had broken from staying at The Huntley because I wanted the space of a condo-- but the Shoshone staff, Emily G., our amazing Housekeeper-- all of these experiences have made me realize this is a MUCH better value and experience.
