This hotel is one of the best I have stayed in Spain, staff is incredible, room is renovated very well, and the bar is awesome!

Not the best location. Car parking difficult, rooms not great for a luxury hotel and odd interior with suspended walkways to the rooms not great if worried about heights. Staff not friendly either better to stay on the other bank of the river.

Beautiful hotel with excellent service and attentive staff. The hotel hallways are in keeping with the history of the building before it became a hotel. They did a great job in capturing the history of this building and also made in a unique style that I think everyone will love.

Wonderful place to stay in old town of Bilbao. Our room had a great view of the river and was very quiet at night. Very spacious room and comfortable bed. We enjoyed the main floor bar for pre dinner drinks…we did not dine t the hotel so I have no comment on that. Front reception was wonderful!

The team at Takyo showed exceptional hospitality to us. We felt heartfelt welcome and they helped on any way possible with our stay. Location and design of the hotel is also stellar, and the Ola bar serves amazing breakfast and dinner. For sure - the place to stay in Bilbao!

One of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in. The staff spoke excellent English and made us feel so special. They let us check in early. The bed was extremely comfortable, and there were so many lovely little touches and details. High end soap/lotions in the bathroom, a vanity kit with nail file and q tips, plenty of outlets to charge everything, a beautiful glass bottle of water with cut glass water glasses. Lots of light. I love the design of the hotel- it's in a very old building with modern touches. We would definitely stay there again.

Excellent service, Perfect location and very Nice room.
The possibility for breakfast a la carte is very noticeable: you don’t have to buy a full breakfast (25€), but Can stay on say yoghurt and granola and just pay for that.
Further the in-house bodega serves an excellent tasting menu, not far from the upstairs Michelin restaurant.
