Alas, I am disappointed with Banyan Tree. I thought the concept of the hotel was to feel the nature in the jungle, to walk around and see the plants, and to have the beach and the sea. Actually, it is not. There is nothing in the hotel that can get close to nature except the road that the small car takes. The small road is taken by the staff, and the main road is the kind that ordinary cars take. It is not very convenient to travel. You have to call the small car to pick you up. And there was a heavy rain one day. We waited for 15 minutes with two other foreign families at the waiting place for the car (normally 2-3 minutes). The heavy rain froze us because we were wet after swimming. The bad weather and emergencies reflected the inefficiency of the staff, or there were not so many staff in the off-season. I think it is enough to have a housekeeper for nearly 4,000 a day, but there is no... (the average price of fried rice, noodles, and rice noodles in the hotel is about ¥150) We stayed in the hotel and didn’t go out. The breakfast was also average, which was too different from the hotels of the same price in Sanya. (Oh, by the way, it was advertised that you can touch the little turtles, but in fact you can’t, you can only watch)

The beach is soft, white and the water is clear, but the beach area is relatively small, and the sea**** is not cleaned in a timely manner in the non-hotel-managed part. The food in the western restaurant is very average, and the Indonesian restaurant is not bad, with interesting local flavors. The room has a good view of the sunset, but the water in the pool in the yard is not very clean, so don't dare to soak in it if it turns yellow. The staff are very friendly and diligent, and the experience is very good.

The environmental sanitation is very good, I am very satisfied. The service before check-in is very good, but the service after check-in is very different. You need a converter to call at night. It is difficult to get through the hotel phone. It is far to go to the lobby or the beach, so you need to use the hotel's special car. , I asked the hotel to send a car to pick me up from the room, but half an hour passed and no one came, and I was almost too late to catch the boat.

The hotel is located on a peninsula corner of Bintan Island. There are two hotels of the same group nearby, and the beaches are connected to each other. The overall environment is pretty good, with blue sky, white clouds, green trees, waves, infinity seaside swimming pool, clean sheets, banyantree's excellent service, etc. . . They are all independent small villas on the seaside. However, except for the swimming pool where you can go to the seaside, you can't go anywhere else. The layout of the swimming pool in the villa is very strange. There are wild monkeys, and there are reminders in the room not to feed them, and to close the door when going out. Maybe it was the wrong season when I went there. The sea breeze was very strong. I thought it was a typhoon at first, but later I realized it was the moon season. The environment on the island is good, but a bit boring. I booked it for 4 days and returned it in advance without refund. I could only walk everywhere. I went to the golf course. The course was good. I also went to the small supermarket on the island, but there was nothing to do. There is plenty of food, though. The food in the restaurant is a bit overwhelming. It’s not that the food is not good, it’s just that the Indonesian food tastes strange and unacceptable. However, the RIB in the main restaurant tastes very good, soft and tasty, you can give it a try. In addition, pay attention to oil pollution at the beach, because it is not far from the waterway, and there will be fuel oil pollution everywhere on the sea. A pair of sandals will be ruined. The hotel has a reminder sign, but no one specifically reminded it when checking in. This needs to be improved. In general, you can have fun, but there is no need to go there specifically. It takes an hour to get there by boat from Singapore, and it will be uncomfortable if you encounter strong winds and waves.

The hotel is located halfway up a mountain. The location and scenery are great. It may be the off-season and there are not many tourists. It is very quiet. The slow pace is especially suitable for relaxing. The sea water is clear and there are corals and small fish underwater. This is the only thing. The seasonal waves are a bit big and the visibility is low. The hotel service is also good. The only drawback is that some power sockets in the room are broken. In short, it is a perfect trip!
