"The cabin is beautiful, and they even offer free snacks. Their food is also great; we had both dinner and breakfast there. It was delicious and exquisite, and the price was very reasonable. I think it's incredible value for money! The only uncontrollable thing was the overwhelming number of geckos, which was quite startling. 😳"
Trikora Beach Club and Resort
" I really enjoyed my stay at trikora. All the villas have roofs cleverly made of tightly-woven leaves, and has furniture made of locally- sourced wood and even drift wood, which creates an authentic feel of a close-to-nature stay, not artificial or superficial at all. On top of that the resort was covered in carpet grass and fine sand, which makes you feel closer to nature and makes it feel more relaxing. The villas were close, a very short walk away from the beach, so you can easily watch and listen to the waves anytime of the day. The rooms were simple though spacious and clean. There is a also a swimming pool. The restaurant is also next to the beachside, where you can eat and soak in the sea, sun and breeze which is relaxing and picturesque. Both the local and non- local foods here were good and tasty though it takes a while. If you’re into kayaking, snorkelling, SUP etc there is also equipment you can rent. At night the trees which are deliberately on the beachside are decorated with lights, which makes creates a mesmerising and beautiful scene. The service was very good- the staff were very helpful, polite and patient.I also appreciate the attention to detail- from the unique construction of the villas to the decoration. Overall, My stay there was enjoyable. You’ll get an authentic, close-to -nature experience, a place to unwind and enjoy nature, with simpler(though yes there’s still air con, tv and good heaters) and clean rooms, away from the bustle of city life."
Club Med Bintan
"The room itself was decent, and the view was beautiful, but the amenities felt a bit lacking. There was no comb, you had to buy one, and toothbrushes were only provided for the first day, not the second. 😔 It was quite confusing. The food was just okay, not particularly delicious. Also, the entertainment options were too limited, with only one show per day and very short time slots, so we often missed out."

"We stayed at Tortise B villa. Villa have: 1. Total 3 bedrooms, all have en-suite toilet. There is 1 common toilet. Towels, shampoo, body wash, conditioners and dental kits are provided. 2. Kitchen with cockery, utensils, kettle, fridge and microwave oven. 3. A private pool with deepest end at 1.5m. We dip ourselves in the pool everyday! Beach towel are provided. 4. Spacious living room with TV. 5. A complementary buggy for you to drive. We find this particularly helpful as most restaurants are a distance (say 15mins walk) away. 6. Free WiFi provided. Overall, we had a truly perfect stay in the spacious villa! Service staff are prompt in addressing our concerns or requirements. I definitely want to go back again. Tips: 1. bring some snacks and cup noodles along. 2. Bring mosquito repellent or patch."

"Location: North-side of Bintan in Berakit area. About an hour car ride (resort can arrange) from BBT ferry terminal. Great for stargazers. Rare gem of Bortle 4 skies at a convenient location near Singapore. Service: Excellent! Especially appreciate the help, advice and utmost support given by Resort Manager, Aider, in ensuring smooth equipment clearance and arrangements as well as the area where we stay is conducive for stargazing. Thankful also for his entire team e.g. Yuni etc. who were all highly responsive and responsible in addressing any requests. Housekeeping and cleanliness: Excellent! Rooms: Beautiful, traditional, cultural, wooden Joglo design. Large, clean and spacious. Comfortable bed. Well equipped. Food and Beverage: Yummy breakfast with a good variety of options included in the hotel package. The restaurant's ala carte menu for food and drinks was great too. We’ve enjoyed eating their Martabak Telur, Chicken Rendang pizza, Gado gado, Bintan Exotica Nasi Goreng and Avocado Juice. Nearby Shops: About 8-10 mins walk to a minimart selling snacks, drinks, toiletries etc. About 20-25 mins walk to a local barber and eatery (Kuliner Rasa). Had a lovely and enjoyable stargazing and astrophotography experience under dark skies at open beachfront area. Thanks to the resort for flexibility and fantastic support given to facilitate good stargazing experience!"

"The hotel was very clean. The room was simple and spotless. I had no complaints at all. I stayed here because I wanted to catch the first ferry in the morning. It was super convenient as the ferry terminal was less than a 10-minute walk, even with a suitcase. Breakfast was included and available from 6 AM, which was a huge plus. The breakfast mostly consisted of Indonesian dishes, which I'm not familiar with as a Japanese person, so I just had toast. Overall, it was a good hotel."

"Lovely small resort at Trikora Coast of Bintan in a beautful garden! Staff is very nice and organizes pick up from and to ferry. Spacious, very clean rooms. Beautiful pool and the gardener does a great job! Nice little restaurant, but they could improve one thing: Most dishes are deep fried. Not everyone likes Indonesian style of cooking, so please add some Western and some healthy dishes to the menu. We shall recommend you to our friends and come back again!"

"Out of ten, I would rate it as 8. What you see online about the surroundings and the beach here are all relevant in real life. As soon as my family and I checked in for a room, I started to begin the journey. Later I realized that the another rooms that overlooking the beach is more impressive as you witness the sunrise when you wake up in the morning. Of course the it might be higher when it comes to the room fare. But, Hey! this is one life time experience :) We hire the local snorkeling activity (not arranged by hotel) and hop on the fast boat at the jetty right behind the hotel facing the crystal clear sea water. You can do snorkeling by the beach but less convenient. The best snorkeling view is a little bit off the shore. The pool is superb. Sometime, some kids jump in the sea water as it is just so stunning and fresh. most of the guests here are locals (many from nearby Riau island) and the menu is sort of Asian-American in the morning breakfast. New update: the hotel is now in the making of mini park for kids and family to play in the area (no photos taken). You might experience this facility in the coming year when you here."

"Near the beach and have multiple things to do including volleyball cycling kayaking. The room my family stayed in looked to be one of the older rooms. It is decently clean enough. Service wise was good as the staff strived to assist my family for our requests. Snacks provided in room are free which is nice. Kakung at sun moon restaurant was great"
