Didn’t enjoy the breakfast the eggs wasn’t that good and the bacon was too tough for my liking and also my keys were giving trouble on the second day. But everything else was fine

Unfortunately not very clean. No glasses or cups in our room and made us pay for water. Probably the most bar minimal effort travelodge I have stayed in. See why it is 2 stars.

Basic. Clean and tidy. Breakfast self service quite acceptable. Would consider staying here again

The staff were really friendly, the room itself wasn't very clean and the sink was leaking, toilet kept gurgling throughout the night and obviously can't be help but the location meant the night was very noisy.

As far as Travelodge hotels go - rooms are standard and if the older design but well maintained and spotlessly clean. What makes this hotel stand out however is the staff. Claire greeted me on reception and remembered me from a year prior which made me feel both welcomed and valued. Bert in the cafe for breakfast is fantastic. He is so customer focused and makes sure that customers are all looked after. I remembered him from a year prior too - he was just as kind and caring then too! Such a lovely person! I also spoke with Zhane, Neil and Josh during my stay and they were all brilliant. The difference between this and other Travelodge sites is the staff - they are like a family and are all so focused on making customers stays as nice as possible!

Starting from the check in, staff wasn't welcoming. Didn't explain anything like check out time, location of restaurant for breakfast, time of breakfast–I had to use my phone because room didn't have telephone to enquire all this which took me to the operator for him to now forward call to the hotel I am in. Room we lounge was very unkempt. No ventilation in the bathroom, rusty rail handle in the bathtub, towels very cheap quality, breakfast was so dry and not many options. When request from a staff there was no effort to try and get it from the chef. There was not even a chef. It was same reception staff making food with no proper food PPE e.g. airpron, hair nets. Staff just dressed in normal clothing while cooking in the kitchen. Juice glass was dirty from the clean section with a lady's lip stick stain. Had to purchase Wifi never made aware of all this..

Great stay and brilliant staff. Bert was fantastic with all of our needs. Always checking to ensure everyone is okay and going out of his way to make our stay was even better. Lovely breakfast, lovely drinks, great atmosphere and excellent staffs.

Super hotel. Clean, warm and plenty of hot water! Breakfast is fantastic and staff are present, friendly and helpful We like the location near the jewellery quarter and the canal lock system - still within walking distance from the city centre

Lovely friendly hotel service. The breakfast was tasty. Thankyou to Bert and other staff for putting out pancakes and croissants. It's a shame there was no fruit salad due to delivery issues as my wife was looking forward to it. Very good hotel location for central Birmingham with an NCP car park across the street.

Paid extra for Standard Plus room but wasn’t really worth it. Bathroom was tiny and shower wasn’t very good. Staff helpful but only really one seemed happy to help (rest didn’t smile at all!). Served its purpose as a bed for a couple of nights but nothing special.

Lovely staff, Bert Shanaz went above and beyond to make us feel home on Christmas Day. He’s ambassador to the Travelodge team. Generally all staff has been lovely! Room is cleaned and the hotel area is quiet, and within walking distance from the city centre. I will definitely stay here again.

I've now stayed here on a few occasions. The rooms are comfortable and clean. However if you're here for more than a fews days there's not enough storage for clothes. The staff here are fantastic, always friendly and helpful. Especially Pat, she's always happy to help.

Room nice and clean as you’d expect from Travelodge. Hotel is in a Great location, just a 10 minute walk from train station and ICC arena and about 20 mins to the bullring shopping centre. Breakfast was tasty and great service from the team Shanaz and Bert.
