"⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4/5 with great Location near to Train Station! I had a really pleasant stay at Britannia Hotel Birmingham New Street. The room was spacious, tidy, and very clean, which made it feel comfortable and relaxing after a long day exploring the city. The hotel’s central location is perfect — just a short walk from the train station, shops, and restaurants, making it very convenient for both leisure and business trips. The staff were friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with anything I needed. It was just abit noisy because my room is next to the street where there is a christmas market , but the room was well maintained. Overall, it was a great experience — excellent value for money, clean rooms, and a convenient location. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Birmingham."

"The room was okay, but when I checked in, the two staff members at the front desk (who appeared to be of Indian/Pakistani descent) had an awful attitude; they were constantly impatient. The soundproofing in the room was also terrible. There was a mysterious connecting door in my room leading to the adjacent one. On the third night, the people next door kept pushing my door furiously, and it almost opened. I went to the front desk to ask for a room change, but they insisted it wouldn't open, even though I clearly heard the lock disengage. They reluctantly moved me to another room, but that one also had a connecting door. I felt completely unsafe staying at this hotel. Another time, I was still asleep in the morning when a Caucasian woman just walked right into my room. She later said she was housekeeping – don't housekeepers usually knock first?? I think 900 yuan a night is absolutely not worth it. The front desk staff are genuinely terrible."

"Staff at reception was friendly. Basic room for 1 night is acceptable. Just a few minutes walk from the train station.Check out was 10am but I done a late check out for £20 Up to 1pm.Need to ask for hairdryer at reception and no kettle in room.I asked for the highest floor room and request for the back of hotel as it’s quieter.Front of hotel their are bars and restaurants nearby .I was on the third floor.I didn’t hear anything."

"Considering the central location and price, it's nearly perfect. Parking is convenient at 18 a day. My only complaints are the poor sound insulation, as noise from the corridor and neighboring rooms was quite audible, and the long waiting times for the front desk and elevators."

"Best Hotel I have stayed in. Plus reasonable price. Fabulous breakfast. Bonus- free use of swimming pool,sauna ,steam room and gym just across the road as it is by Aston University ( sports centre). It's definitely a plus"

"The aircon system was totally sucks, it happened to numbers of rooms, even we changed the room it wasn’t help. The staff told me that the maintenance can only be conducted on weekdays (our stays in during weekends) !!!! We can’t breath while we were sleeping, no choice but to open the windows. Our room is facing to the Main Street with heavy traffic even siren sounds from police car. Luckily we just stay for 1 night. Once is enough ！"

"We recently stayed at the Crowne Plaza Birmingham City Centre and were really impressed from start to finish ⭐. The location could not be more convenient 📍. It is right in the heart of the city, just a few minutes’ walk from New Street Station, the Bullring shopping centre, The Mailbox, and plenty of restaurants and bars. It made getting around Birmingham incredibly easy and meant we could make the most of our time without worrying about transport 🚆🛍️. Our room was spotlessly clean 🧼 and well maintained, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was very comfortable 🛏️, the décor was modern, and the facilities in the room, including tea and coffee ☕, a safe, and toiletries, were all of good quality. We also appreciated the little touches that made the room feel welcoming and practical for both business and leisure travellers. The hotel amenities were excellent. We made use of the bar and lounge area 🍹, which had a relaxed atmosphere and friendly service. Breakfast was a real highlight 🍳🥐, fresh, plentiful, and delicious, with a wide variety of hot and cold options to suit all tastes. Everything was well stocked even during busy times, and staff were attentive without being intrusive 😊. Overall, our stay was smooth, comfortable, and enjoyable. The combination of an ideal location, clean and well equipped rooms, good amenities, and an outstanding breakfast makes this hotel a great choice for a visit to Birmingham 🌆. We would be very happy to stay here again and can confidently recommend it to anyone visiting the city 👍"

"Everything about my stay was great! The staff were super friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, and breakfast (which was included) was excellent. I arrived a little earlier than check-in time, but the process was smooth and quick. I’d asked for a room facing a particular direction, and the receptionist happily arranged that for me. The room itself was compact but felt surprisingly spacious, with a good-sized TV, iron, hairdryer, and a lovely view over the old canal. The location was also really convenient. The only small downside was that the room felt a bit cooler than I’d have liked. I tried to adjust the temperature to around 22°C, but it seemed to stay closer to 20°C. Breakfast was fantastic — plenty of choice and well stocked every morning from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. It had everything from a classic full English to cereals and even a pancake machine! The cleaning staff were also very polite and did a great job. Overall, I had a great stay and would definitely book again!"

"This was the second times I stayed in this hotel and found the staff very welcoming and friendly, which made check-in smooth and pleasant. The location is excellent—convenient for exploring the area and close to local attractions. The only downside was the noise at night, likely from nearby bars, which might be a consideration for light sleepers. Overall, a good spot for a short stay if you’re looking for comfort and accessibility."

"Good location but there is a nightclub nearby. It was too noisy when we opened the window. The cooler air cond) was out of order. Hotel staff Romila was very helpful. She arranged another room with cooler working properly. Therefore, we can close all the window to reduce the noise and can have better sleep."
