Needed a hotel close to work for business travel and the price was reasonable and the room an extremely comfortable experience

The room was very dated, and run down and unbearably hot. The bathroom felt grubby and unclean. I also had some kind of bug present in the bath. (photo's below)
I alerted reception to this who referred it to guest services. They called me after my stay to offer me a discount/upgrade if I wanted to re-book.
They informed me they are silver fish which are not harmful, regardless it does not make you feel that the room is clean.
Clear to say I do not wish to stay at a grubby hotel again.

Recently had an experience with the Hotel at Conference Aston and highly recommend it. Everything so clean, location is perfect, 10 mins walk from the Birmingham Centre, service and staff was fantastic and always helpful.

Best Hotel I have stayed in. Plus reasonable price. Fabulous breakfast. Bonus- free use of swimming pool,sauna ,steam room and gym just across the road as it is by Aston University ( sports centre). It's definitely a plus

Very good location and well equipped room. Our only issue was that the swimming pool opening hours were not great so we weren't able to go during our entire stay.
