Birmingham Hotels with Parking

Due to a Lufthansa strike, I had to extend my stay. The hotel team made my time here unbelievably wonderful and did everything to make me feel at home. A special thanks to everyone, especially Max for the amazing food and for accommodating my sugar-free and vegetarian diet. Thanks also to Mia for helping me get my bearings in the city, and to Cian for booking those wonderful London taxis and helping me with the mail. This team is unparalleled, and for any future stays, there will be no other hotel for me! Thank you to all of you, and also to those I didn't mention by name who embodied this exact wonderful spirit! You have a special place in my heart!

I recently stayed at your hotel and unfortunately left feeling quite disappointed with several aspects of my stay. Upon arrival, I noticed what appeared to be blood stains on the curtains, hair left on the towel/flannel in the bathroom, and marks on the table surfaces. I have attached photographs for reference, as I feel these are basic housekeeping standards that should have been checked prior to a guest arriving. I also experienced multiple issues with food and service during my stay. I ordered a charcuterie board, however the Parma ham and other cured meats appeared dried out, discoloured and no longer fresh. Unfortunately, after eating it, I also felt unwell afterwards, which was particularly concerning. Later, when ordering dinner, I asked for a croque monsieur but the staff member repeatedly did not understand the order, despite me explaining it was a toasted ham and cheese sandwich. I was eventually advised to order a panini instead. Additionally, I ordered truffle fries but was informed they were unavailable. I agreed to normal fries, however what arrived were heavily seasoned thick-cut chips which were completely different from what I expected and unfortunately not enjoyable. Another issue was the iron provided in the room, which had black residue/staining on it and ended up marking my top, which was very frustrating. As I had booked the stay primarily to relax and enjoy a quiet evening in the room with room service, it was disappointing that the overall experience did not feel comfortable or enjoyable. What disappointed me further was that upon check-out, nobody asked how my stay was or whether everything had been satisfactory, despite the multiple issues experienced throughout my visit. I wanted to bring this to your attention as I do not usually complain, however I felt the overall standard of cleanliness, food quality and service fell below expectations. Kind regards, Karolina

My daughter attends Aston University, so the location was perfect for us and made it easy to spend time together. The hotel is also quite central, with convenient access to the city centre and everything Birmingham has to offer. The staff were warm, welcoming and professional throughout our stay, and always ready and willing to help. Overall, a very convenient location and a pleasant experience. I would happily stay here again.

Great value for money, and it's a pet-friendly hotel too! The fee for two dogs was very reasonable. The location in the city center is super convenient, and the water pressure in the shower was excellent, which is a big plus. My only complaint is that the air conditioning wasn't effective enough during the 30+ degree weather; the room felt really stuffy and hot. Other than that, everything else was fine.

I stay here once a year as it is not far from the NEC in Birmingham. The location of the hotel is perfect as so close to the motorway but feels like you are in countryside as so quiet and relaxing. It could probably do with a little TLC as the some of the furniture in my room was looking a little tired but still very clean. The staff are lovely and helpful with good service. I have been to this hotel many times over the years and only used the swimming pool once which is the only downside to this place. I would not use again as not the relaxing hotel experience I anticipated as was very busy. Priority appears to be given to the paying public over hotel residents and the changing room was disgusting with used towels piled high on the floor. Staff were stood around having a laugh with their mates and had to interrupt to ask where to get towels then had to ask another member of the public how to open the lockers. I would continue to use this hotel but wouldn’t risk the swimming pool again.

Really unsatisfied with the cleanliness of the room, there was a huge amount of dust anywhere that I was sneezing continuously. Also, the most disgusting thing were the bedsheets, stained with yellow spots! I asked for a new set of bedsheets and the reception gave them to me and I had to put them on, because there was no one of the cleaning team to do it. Very very very unsatisfied.

Strategic location in Birmingham city, walking distance to those shops, the stoves provided is more than enough for us if want to cook at late night, recommended place for short stay if you bring elderly

Genting Hotel is a highly rated hotel known for its excellent location, modern rooms, and direct access to Resorts World, the NEC, and Birmingham Airport. Very clean, bed somewhat un comfortable and not a real double, dated decor and bathroom. Great location next to New Street Station.

A 4* hotel outskirts of M6 Birmingham and Walsall (Midlands). Ihad been given an Executive room which has a fridge. This hotel also has sports facilities. Excellent breakfast. Please apply for a IHG Green points card and save up the points towards your next stay. Complimentary Parking. Please enter your vehicle registration at the front desk (Parking Eye Portal.). Very friendly staff (will go that extra mile).
