The hotel is located in a convenient location beside the canal. Checking in was straight forward and reception staff helpful when changing from a double room to twin room.
Clean room no complaints
Felt cooked breakfast the next day a bit underpar - bacon slightly too hard and hash browns were soggy so disappointing.

Guest UserThe hotel is in a good location and is equipped for short stays in Birmingham with excellent links to transport. The hotel room, while comfortable, needs a bit of updating and lighting sorted as it was too dark to see fully! However, as mentioned it was very clean and comfortable for our one night stay. Would stay again for a short time.

Everything is good , but the shame is the hotel not providing any slippers for the customers. Other than that everything is perfect location, entertainment. Cinema and bowling within walking distance.

Good location for visiting NEC, but far to go Birmingham city centre.
Good for parking, take your discount code from reception. You have to pay for your parking at the beginning of your stay. Pay machine is in entrance hall.
Heating/air conditioning on the wall in room was noisy.
Breakfast was very basic.
Room has iron and ironing board.
Staff pleasant and helpful.
Property overall and room was clean.

Really unsatisfied with the cleanliness of the room, there was a huge amount of dust anywhere that I was sneezing continuously.
Also, the most disgusting thing were the bedsheets, stained with yellow spots! I asked for a new set of bedsheets and the reception gave them to me and I had to put them on, because there was no one of the cleaning team to do it.
Very very very unsatisfied.

Guest UserI stay here once a year as it is not far from the NEC in Birmingham. The location of the hotel is perfect as so close to the motorway but feels like you are in countryside as so quiet and relaxing. It could probably do with a little TLC as the some of the furniture in my room was looking a little tired but still very clean. The staff are lovely and helpful with good service. I have been to this hotel many times over the years and only used the swimming pool once which is the only downside to this place. I would not use again as not the relaxing hotel experience I anticipated as was very busy. Priority appears to be given to the paying public over hotel residents and the changing room was disgusting with used towels piled high on the floor. Staff were stood around having a laugh with their mates and had to interrupt to ask where to get towels then had to ask another member of the public how to open the lockers. I would continue to use this hotel but wouldn’t risk the swimming pool again.

Spacious Rooms: The rooms are very large, offering plenty of space to unpack and relax.
Great Kitchen Amenities: The room is equipped with fantastic amenities, specifically the dishwasher, hob, and microwave, which made the stay very convenient.
Amazing Location: Perfectly situated with numerous restaurants, attractions, and public transport links right on the doorstep, plus plenty of convenience stores nearby.
Exceptional Staff: The entire team was amazing, from the welcoming reception to the room service staff.
Air Conditioning: Having proper AC was a huge bonus and a lifesaver during the hot days.
Needs improvement
Tiny Washroom: The bathroom is incredibly cramped. It is so small that you have to awkwardly shuffle around just to manage closing the door.
Uncomfortable Bed Setup: Instead of an actual double bed, the hotel pushed two single beds together. This created a hollow, sinking gap in the middle of the mattresses, which was quite uncomfortable.
Infrequent Housekeeping: We only received room cleaning once during our entire 11-day stay. Even considering it is an aparthotel, the lack of daily or more frequent room service was disappointing for a trip of that length.
No In-Room Washing Machine: Despite having a kitchen setup, there was no washing machine inside the room, which would have been very helpful for a longer stay.

nd191Good value in general and the room was clean and comfortable. There was however no coffee/ tea facilities in room and no toiletries except for a very small amount of multi purpose hand soap, which wasn't refreshed during the stay. Whilst the charge for left luggage was only £2 per bag, they charged even for a couple of seperate plastic carrier bags, which seemed a bit unreasonable. Apart from that, the overall cost of the stay was inexpensive.

JSTWComfort Inn Location is great, just next to Birmingham New Street train station and within 3 mins walking distance to Birmingham China town, so plenty of restaurants and cafe surround this hotel.
The only downside is the shower area, the curtain was short and water spilling everywhere when take shower.
Overall I would rate 4.0 for Comfort Inn due to excellent location and reasonable price
