3-Star Hotels in Birmingham

Living in Chinatown is incredibly convenient for transportation. It's just a 3-5 minute walk, and downstairs there are many Chinese restaurants. The 'bar' downstairs is actually more like a tea house in China, mostly frequented by older residents (both men and women), so it's not the chaotic crowd one might imagine. Although the room is small, it does have air conditioning, and for the price, it offers excellent value for money. 🔱🔱🔱🔱

The hotel's location isn't great. You have to go through a park, and it's quite out of the way, so it's best to take an Uber. However, the environment is decent, and it's a chain hotel, so it's pretty well-managed. The bed is quite comfortable, and the cleanliness is good. The overall space is a bit small. Luggage storage is very insecure; it's just a pile in a storage room with no labels and no one watching over it. The air conditioning in the room blows directly onto your head, which is a bit uncomfortable, and there's no outlet next to the bed for charging. Overall, besides being clean and tidy, everything else is just so-so. I booked it to save some money, but now I think I should have just booked a place near New Street Station. Birmingham, though, is a nice city. It's not too expensive, and there are plenty of places to explore.

Fantastic hotel, very clean great size rooms. Tram station, shop, domino's and tescos within omly a few mins. Breakfast was lush with a great selection. Staff were super friendly. Look forward to coming back another time

This hotal was lovely we had to do a late check in after 9 clock as we got hear late but the staff service was fantastic very helpful and very polite would definitely stay hear again breakfast was a buffet breakfast help your self the only thing they didt have was fried eggs but they had scrambled egg thy had tea coffee hot chocolate machine and also help your self to apple juice orange juice lots of staff around clear area were people had been ready for other people to sit as have breakfast area was nice clear room was clear and tidy nice shower and toilet room beds comfortable had a family room with a double bed and a sofa bed .

Really unsatisfied with the cleanliness of the room, there was a huge amount of dust anywhere that I was sneezing continuously. Also, the most disgusting thing were the bedsheets, stained with yellow spots! I asked for a new set of bedsheets and the reception gave them to me and I had to put them on, because there was no one of the cleaning team to do it. Very very very unsatisfied.

It was within walking distance 5 minutes to the train station It was also within walking distance 7 minutes to the Conference Centre I had great conversations with a very friendly receptionist who checked me in was at the desk most times when I was going out and she checked me out... In the interim the other receptionist came upstairs to let me know nicely and politely that my Taxi was waiting. Another girl receptionist was also very friendly she let me have a complimentary cup of tea after the machine failed to give me a full cup when I paid I was very well looked after. Being where it is near the station and the conference center I will defnitely stay there again.

Clean twin beds. USB-A ports on either side of twin beds for easy phone charging, table lamp for each and a reading light each. Very spacious room. Tea and coffee facilities. Spacious bathroom. Complementary breakfast with allergen markings. Gluten-free hash browns too! However, not a huge breakfast selection and the only eggs available are the scrambled eggs possibly steamed? Quiet rooms and excellent parking. Iron and ironing board in room too. Great stay. Good air conditioning unit too.

Found an excellent deal online for a single room at £26. Hotel is in an alleyway right in the middle of the town centre which is convenient. Arrived 10 mins before check in time to find that no one was at reception. Fortunately, A helpful and sympathetic housekeeper was present and called up one of the staff who said they were half an hour away. A queue started to build up at reception. After 40 mins of waiting and checking in, the key card to the room didn’t work so I had to go downstairs again which was a cardio workout. Elevator didn’t work and the place was like a maze so a lot of walking. Room was pretty basic but clean, there was no remote for the TV. Bathroom was immaculate and sanitised with a pair of two clean towels. For the price, the room was decent and can’t complain. Exactly as shown in the website images but customer service is nearly non-existent. Had to wait half an hour due to zero staff at reception. Another downside was no AC so the room is warm. Would return but not in a rush.

This is overall a very nice hotel. The service was very polite and friendly. The hotel was very clean. The rooms were nicely decorated and clean. But there were a few issues: 1. in the evening the car park was full. This may have been from visitors to the pub, or the public using it. 2. the doors have a very strong auto-close. This led to a lot of doors slamming at 6am as some guests were leaving.

5 stars. Exceptionally clean room, outstanding staff and an unbeatable location. Everything you need is within walking distance and the surrounding shops and amenities make it the perfect spot. Friendly people throughout and an altogether excellent stay. Highly recommended.
