I go here every year for september and January for an avon conference. Basic but clean and tidy. Has a bar and food is nice. Not always got shower and shampoo and conditioner in rooms. But just ask.

The rooms are clean and nice, relatively quiet, there is a restaurant, and the breakfast in the restaurant is reasonably priced. I recommend everyone to stay there. The ceiling in the room is also good and the trash cans also have plastic bags.

Staff friendly and accommodating.
Room badly in need of updating. Old dated furnishings.
Door doesn’t shut properly. Towels could be cleaner old, could do with new ones.
Bathroom has black mould, could do with proper cleaning. No iron, could not get one, had to go to the the hotel laundry to use one.
Light in corridor only work in certain places very dark outside the room.
Room size good.
Lighting inside poor.
On the whole; I would not recommend this hotel.
This hotel has a long way to go in-terms of improvement.
Parking is excellent.

This is without doubt the worst hotel I have ever had the misfortune to stay at for business. The Asian woman on reception was rude and didn’t seem to realise that because I was dressed in work clothes I was a guest in the hotel. The food was passable, but took 45 minutes from ordering, and the guy next to me was less than happy with what he had. He was simply told to write in via email to complain. Their claims of attention to detail are laughable as the rooms were not clean, and need a complete refurbishment. The car park is messy with old fridges and skips littering the place. The only good thing about the whole place was the Asian girl behind the bar who was friendly and welcoming. Maybe they should promote her to a receptionist because she seems to understand customer service better than any of the other staff. Overall: poor.

60th wedding anniversary and mom's 80th birthday party for 60 people It was also our dad's, nephews and great nephews birthday all at the same time. The buffet was excellent and we had a great time. But the most important part was how well the staff all looked after us. The staff were friendly and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. This was a massive success and allowed us all to celebrate a very special day. Thank you so much for making the day special

Lovely place.. excellent barmaid and staff.. What is the name of your lovely barmaid she needs a pay rise.. rooms where spot on food was excellent. Football on and pints went down a treat! Would definitely book again! Thank youse very much for the night

The staff on arrival were very friendly and welcoming. The room was quite date and the bed was a little uncomfortable but had all the things you would expect. The food was very good and I enjoyed the burger I ordered. It was cooked beautifully, I was a little taken back by the strong taste of mustard. The gym (fitness suite) was very limited. The stay was adequate for a one night business trip.

On a round trip covering Scotland all way back to London Away constantly for 4 nights in different locations throughout the week This stay was by far the best Food amazing Staff amazing Could not fault it absolutely brilliant place to stay Would highly recommend
