Rooms were ok, very bed and breakfast vibes. Check in was confusing and they gave us the wrong keys several times, letting us enter other people's rooms, essentially. The hotel also functions as a pub, so not super great if you want to go to bed early. Location is pretty far from everything. You could hear pretty much everything going on around you, so stay away if you're a light sleeper.

The pub was great friendly staff and the food was nice, but the room , wasn't great , my bathroom stunk of urine and ammonia and fusty mold , wasn't happy. I was supposed to stay 2 nights but I had to go home witch I was happy that I didn't have to have another night in that room 29

Although a good price with friendly staff we had various issues over our 3 booked rooms. One had no soap but only realised when undressed so too late to ask as she was in her own. Ours had a really bad spring in the bed (room 26) and a bad smell in the bathroom. The other had virtually no tea or coffee supplied, again too late to ask once in pj’s at midnight. Just be nice if every room had the same supplies so you didn’t have to moan to anyone and the mattress should defo be replaced!

We came up for the Saint Patrick’s day. We arrived on the Saturday, check in was fast. Our room was on the top floor, which we found to be nice and quiet. All the staff were very friendly and made us welcome, nothing was too much trouble. Jane looked after us mostly during our stay, and I must speak as I find, she was very pleasant and helped with anything we needed. All the girls are lovely. We thoroughly enjoyed the DJ Saturday night, great music which took me back to my clubbing days We have booked for next year already. The rooms are basic but comfortable and clean, I did read other reviews before booking, I did see some negative comments on the cleanliness, but I have to say ours was fine. Although there is no cooked food on the weekend except Sunday breakfast , there is always fresh cobs to eat, the town centre is close by so there is plenty of choice to go out for a meal. We had a cooked breakfast on Sunday morning, and we enjoyed it. We will be back again, thank you to all the Moseley Arms staff, we had a lovely time, the a**osphere was great which made our night a great one.

Good points: Good location not too far from Bullring/O2 Institute, still quiet, free parking. We were allocated a ground-floor room. Very friendly staff. Smoking area. Very clean. Wi-Fi worked well. A few *******: Mattress on one bed was a bit hard. No food option at the times we stayed, and no breakfast options, like a cafe, nearby.

Booked to stay for one night with husband, walked in and straight back out again, Horrible room, tatty, nasty smell in bathroom, noise from surrounding rooms was awful, furniture looked like it had come off the tip, heater didn’t work Honestly don’t know how they can charge £90 per night!!!! I wouldn’t pay £20. The only thing I can say as a positive is it was fairly clean, it just didn’t look it because of how shabby the room was. Very disappointed,

The stay was great, the bed was comfortable enough, the room warmed up quick enough with the heater. Toiletries stocked well and a TV for the night with free-view. The staff were lovely. Just a nit pick, when we booked this it said breakfast could be bought on arrival for the next day, however when we enquired about it, we were told that they don’t do breakfast in the week, this needs updating. The only reason a star was taken away was because of the cleanliness, although the floors, walls, beds and surfaces were clean. There was dust all over the lamp shades, and i did not use the shower as the shower head had red mould on it and the runner on the door was mouldy. But over all you do get good value for what you pay. I would stay again.

We stayed on the top floor. The roof has some sort of leak and water was dripping through. We could smell damp in our bathroom due to lack of ventilation. We did used the extractor fan. We didn't shower as you could see from the picture it was in a poor state. Staff are friendly. Car park at the rear is good if you can get a space. Bus stop across the road number 50 for the town centre and not too far away. Please read other reviews. We didn't bring the issues up with the staff because if they can't see it then there is something clearly wrong.
