This place is always clean and tidy. It is in a great central location in Bismarck. The staff is always friendly and the service is great. We will continue to stay here monthly as we do work in Bismarck.

This is what our community thinks of this hotel's management 🥳 please enjoy for your own entertainment! Stop giving them business maybe the owners will actually care because currently they seem to have both poor management and ownership! I recommend staying at the holiday inn

Could not believe after a LONG DAY on the road, we get to our room & NO TV!😡 The TV remotes would not operate & WE HAD TO GO TO THE FRONT DESK-TWICE TO TRY & get help. This being late at night. The front desk lady actually came to our room to help but she knew NOTHING ABOUT THE TV😡 She offered to move us to a new room, but we were extremely tired & had a lot of luggage to move. Bullcrap!! So we had no way to watch TV-At all! Bad night. Also, the phone in our room wasn’t even connected-NO TELEPHONE CORD!! NEED A REFUND!! Will NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN!!

We have stayed at numerous hotels across North America including La Quinta properties. Never have we experienced what we did in this hotel. The minor items...stopper in the bathtub was broke, the hot water at the "free" breakfast wasn't hot enough to cook the packaged oatmeal, no fruit, limited fridge items, NO hot items on Friday, there were some on Saturday, Barking dogs in a nearby room. The bad experience: We were booked in this hotel for 2 nights. We arrived later the first night and aside from the dogs we managed. Left at 7:30 am the next morning for a day of business. Arrived back at the hotel at approx. 9:30 pm. Our hotel keys would not work. Three trips to the front desk to get the keys redone. The last time the fellow finally gave us new keys and they did work. One of the reasons we booked this hotel was the website said daily housekeeping. Upon opening the door we discovered that wasn't the case. We had no clean towels, the bed wasn't made etc...I decided to call the front desk..but the hotel phone to call the front desk did not work to call out. So I called the front desk with my cell phone. I inquired about the house keeping...I was rudely told that there was no housekeeping unless it was by request. I explained I was not aware of that and he continued to berate me for not requesting housekeeping as it was posted in the front desk area. I did not see this signage nor did the person checking us in mention it to us. I simply said good by and hung up. Right away I received a call on the hotel room phone. It was the same fellow. He threatened to have us kicked out of his hotel. When I asked why he said it was because he didn't like the way I had talked to him about the keys that didn't open our hotel door and my inquiry about housekeeping. Just for clarification...I did not yell or become upset with this person...I simply wanted keys that worked so we could get into our hotel room and inquired why housekeeping didn't happen as it says on the website. I finally simply said we are staying the night and we would discuss this in the morning. He continued to threated to kick us out. I asked who he was and he said he was the owner and manager of this property and others. I hung up and waited for someone to come banging at our hotel room door. Needless he upset us and we had another long day ahead of us. He did not come banging on our door. At 7:00 the next morning we packed up and went down to the front desk. He was not there. The front desk folks I assume were in shift change. You couldn't help but overhear the one person telling the new person who just came to work about someone in the hotel who needed maintenance to get into their room to retrieve their items as their keycards did not work. It sounded that they had to spend the night elsewhere and I hope they were able to get their belongings later. I decided we were lucky in that respect. Response from Property: Julie you seem to leave out a few details of your stay in your review. Some might call it fictitious. I have a video of you throwing your keys at the desk from several feet away in frustration after we had key issues. That behavior is not respected by the hotel. You attempted to turn this inconvenience into money off with aggression and attitude. That is why you were asked to leave. Don't throw things at my staff. You are an adult. Our sign for housekeeping is with in everyone's eyes when they check in. You screamed and yelled over your own failure to understand this policy. Demanding financial restitution for your own understanding with the same aggression and level of disrespect that you carried through out my hotel. Julie I wish i could say it was nice to meet you but frankly how can you treat strangers like this? My hotel doesn't understand that. You are banned. Do not throw things

The Front Desk girl with glasses and black hair was very nice! She was also insanely pretty. 10/10 would recommend. She made the stay worth it, really excited to come back in August of next year. Again 10/10 would recommend. Clean place, good food.

I took my 78 year old Mother back to ND to visit with family. We were greeted by respectful front desk staff who gave us a main floor room right next to an access door. Located right off interstate. Clean, fresh, quiet. Decent coffee and breakfast bar. We did not use the pool or hot tub.

The manager is a rockstar. I stay at LaQuinta Suites all over the country when I'm filming for my tv show 'Rides with Jay Thomas ' and love them all but the manager at the Bismarck ND. location is by far the best. Don't lose this guy. The entire staff was fantastic

I'll start with absolutely do not visit this hotel, looks are deceiving, walked into our expensive room with high expectations, only to be met with a stopped up toilet very disgusting, office desk gave me a plunger and a bucket! are you kidding? it was like that when we got there! paid almost 200 for a night! old fixtures and amenities, loud hallways, elevator might fall to the ground! please spare yourselves a horrible experience!

Excellent front desk service & staff. A very nice LaQuinta. Will stay at the Bismarck location again. It’s handy for us as we have family in Minnesota, a halfway point in out travels.

Management is terrible. I would avoid staying at La Quinta in Bismarck, North Dakota. Historically, I have enjoyed my stays at La Quinta and will try to seek them if available on my travels. In this case, an error was made. The manager was subsequently rude to my wife. I made multiple attempts to contact the manager and he would not take my calls. I was also told on multiple occasions that he was provided my message and would return my call; however, he failed to call me back. The customer service supervisor said their customer support stopped at providing a reservation and that they could not help with any complaints at an actual hotel. The terrible management seems to be a consistent problem based on recent reviews of this hotel. I have been searching to find contact information for the owner - I would assume they would like to know that the manager they hired does not support their customers. As of this report, I have not found their contact information.
Response from Property: Hey Paul, I don't actually seem to have a reservation this is attached too, This does sound like a circumstance brought to my attention a few days back when I had two guests overly-insist they were entitled to a refund on a cancellation even with our very clear cancellation policy made clear. I remember you both acknowledging the cancellation policy but still felt it should be broken on your account. I'm sorry I couldn't get you a refund as the hotel is business, policies are in place so peoples decisions do not hurt the hotel. This is perhaps a good example of that. Cancellation policies are very clear and all my staff is well aware and is happy to explain to all guests the terms. I would encourage you check with the hotel of your choice if you still seem to have the same confusion when making your next reservation.

Our room was clean and comfortable. The pool area was also clean and well maintained though the water was freezing. The breakfast in the morning was great, well-stocked, and there was a nice variety. Overall just a pleasant stay and would recommend to anyone traveling to Bismarck/Mandan.
