Secrets Hideaway

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Secrets Hideaway. Everything we could have wanted for was provided, and much more; we were staying just after Chris**as, and the host provided a lovely hamper of Chris**as goodies! The location is perfect for exploring the Blue Mountains more generally, but is also a short walk from Evan’s Lookout. The room was clean, tidy, and felt cozy, even in the summer. We would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to stay in the area!

Beautifully presented suite - spotless, cosy - a home away from home - in stunning and relaxing gardens . Hosts warmly welcomed us on arrival. Generous and fresh food supplies were a lovely finishing touch to an excellent stay. Reading by the cosy fire was a perfect finish to a day of exploring the Blue Mountains .

Secrets Hideaway is a lovely b&b with fireplaces – at least in the two rooms we stayed – and heated blankets besides. It is a short hike to fabulous views of the nearby canyon and lots of bird life to see along the way and even at the b&b. Breakfast is self-prepared but our refrigerator was constantly stocked with fresh items. We had a great stay. See and George are very nice people and terrific hosts. They kept an eye out for us. We appreciated their help and can highly recommend.

What an absolutely lovely place to stay. Lovely quiet location, spotlessly clean with all the comforts of home. Also, there is nothing the hosts will not do for you, nothing is too much trouble for them. It is an older building, so a bit chilly but plenty of heating available. We could not recommend the place highly enough.

Great property, highly recommended.

We stayed in the smallest room at this accommodation for five days. Although it was advertised as being 27 sq meters, in reality it was a lot smaller. We struggled to find room for all our stuff and to move about comfortably because the free floor area was exceptionally tiny, and there was a general lack of surfaces. The host tried hard to provide everything one might need, but we felt a little uncomfortable with the lack of consideration the environment - three changes of towels in five days, no possibility to separate recycling from rubbish, and a spa bath - in an area where one is constantly reminded of how precious water is. We were well provided for in terms of self catering - breakfast items, microwave, hotplates, sink and drainer, fridge, cookware and tableware - but had to eat side by side at a countertop. For a one or two night stay in this lovely area this accommodation might serve but we couldn’t recommend for a longer stay if you have more than an overnight bag each.

The hosts were amazing. They couldn’t do enough for your. The room was perfect for us, clean, the fire made it extra cosy and the breakfast foods supplied was a great bonus. Would highly recommend and definitely come back.

My partner and I stayed here for the weekend in March 2022. See welcomed us as soon as we arrived and gave us a tour of the property and other rooms. Our room was heated upon arrival and the next night after a long day out in the cold. Our room was immacualte, serviced daily and breakfast restocked both days. We will definitely be back for another stay.
