Kyah Hotel ★★★★

📍 13-17 Brightlands Ave, Blackheath

"The hotel was good for its price. The bathroom was a little dirty and it was disappointing there was no bathtub when description said there was one. The staff at the lobby was also hard to reach. The amenities such as hot tub and bikes were good."

Chalets at Blackheath ★★★★

📍 394 Evans Lookout Rd, Blackheath

"We felt incredibly relaxed and immersed in nature. The service was second to none, and we would highly recommend it to everyone. The BBQ was delicious—we enjoyed it almost every night. Jack and Kesh were great, very helpful and accommodating. The in-room massage by Bianca was one of the best I’ve ever had. We went on the Breakfast with Kangaroos tour with Eric, who was extremely knowledgeable and took us to lesser-known spots, guiding us through valleys that felt even more magical than the main tourist areas. Overall, a very relaxed staycation, that is not too far out of Sydney, albeit feels other worldly!"

"Renovated interior with a chic look, however the toilet was pretty dark. Could do with better lightings."

High Mountains Motor Inn ★★★
"Very new hotel, although the area is slightly smaller, there are all facilities. The manager is a Chinese Mr. Zhou, with a friendly and generous face. The yard is very large for parking and a very pleasant stay."

Rowan Brae Historic Guesthouse ★★★★
"We had a most comfortable and relaxing stay at Rowan Brae. The thoughtful furnishings added a touch of charm. Helpful and easy-going staff made us feel calm. Our room was clean, warm and cosy. It overlooked the garden - it was rosy. In the kitchen there were always options for a snack. We liked it so much - we'll certainly be back. Malcolm and Sue"

Chalets at Blackheath ★★★★
"We had 2 nights at the Chalets. Absolutely wonderful. Beautiful attention to design detail with the surrounding Australian bush in perfect harmony with the very spacious and well appointed chalet. Make sure you take a bath looking out into the bush. A delicious breakfast of uniquely Australian flavours. We also had the Moët picnic. An absolute must-do. Set up on a secluded deck surrounded by bushland. Highly recommend taking the e-bikes for a spin into town and out to both Evans Lookout and Govetts leap. The fire pit at night was fun and burned furiously with marshmallows to toast. Staff Steph, Beth and Pedro were very helpful and on call with quick response for all requests. Although we only had 2 nights it was a complete disconnect and recharge and we felt we’d been away for longer."

Secrets Hideaway ★★★★
"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Secrets Hideaway. Everything we could have wanted for was provided, and much more; we were staying just after Christmas, and the host provided a lovely hamper of Christmas goodies! The location is perfect for exploring the Blue Mountains more generally, but is also a short walk from Evan’s Lookout. The room was clean, tidy, and felt cozy, even in the summer. We would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to stay in the area! "
