Renovated interior with a chic look, however the toilet was pretty dark. Could do with better lightings.

Very good, the environment is really good and the rooms are also very good. However, on the way to two train stations from Katoomba, the Blue Mountain Line trains are not frequent, so if there is no train, look at the timetable. There is not much to eat around, so supper and breakfast should be prepared in advance or think of a good way. There are also several breakfast brunch shops in the town of Blackheath. Overall perfect score

We stopped by on the way for lunch and went back for dinner !! The pub foods were delicious. I ordered lasagne and my boyfriend had a pot pie for lunch.. the best lasagne and pie we ever had. We went back for burgers for our dinners. I gotta say, satisfying. The area was cleaned and spacious. Sitting environment was also nice, we sat outside the back for lunch and inside for dinner as the weather turned a bit chilly. Staff were nice for both times we went in. I will go back again for those foods, if anyone ever go pass , stop for meal and you will never regret.

We enjoyed our three-night stay at Leura Gardens. The accommodation is surrounded by lovely gardens which you can wander around. It is located amongst a quiet residential area which has some beautiful and fancy houses. Our room was very clean, comfortable and spacious. It included a microwave, mini-fridge, kettle, TV and a balcony. There is plenty of parking. The continental breakfast was great and well set-up - it included a variety of cereals, toasts, yoghurt, juices, muffins and a pancake machine. The breakfast room has big windows with a lovely view of the gardens and golf course opposite. The accommodation is only a few minutes drive to Leura Mall which has many cafes and boutique shops, as well as a Woolworths supermarket. A few minutes more and you get to Katoomba which has a larger range of cafes, restaurants and shops, including antique shops. There are many beautiful walks and lookouts in Leura, Katoomba and surrounding areas. We had a lovely few days in Leura and would stay at Leura Gardens again.

I had lunch today in Hotel Eticos restaurant with a group of 17 people for a Yuletide Celebration. The thoughtful little touches of Christmas decorations, little iced Christmas cakes on the table & home made star cookies hanging on the tree completed the beautiful ambiance, along with the cozy fire!. We had a 2 course set Yuletide menu. The food was of generous portions & was absolutely delicious. Dietary restrictions were not a problem & our lactose & dairy free member was well catered for. The service was spectacular. The staff were extremely friendly & nothing was too much trouble. We were all very well looked after. All of our group had a wonderful time. This is an old motel that has recently been refreshed/ renovated. The staff are great, room is comfortable. The room was very clean. The bedding is very comfortable and the bathroom was newly renovated. The price to stay here is very low and it represents excellent value. The location is quiet but near Echo Point. If you want to shop in Katoomba, go to restaurants or catch a train, it is a 20-30 minute walk or a short drive. There is also an infrequent bus service into Katoomba.

Jamie provided us with the best greeting we have ever had at check-in. He was warm and friendly on arrival and asked us did we know the area and were we looking for anything in particular. He then took the time to highlight the specific locations on a map that would be ideal for our photographic adventure. We arrived in the early evening and Jamie had the heater on in our room and the lights on for us and this was greatly appreciated on a cold Katoomba evening. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable, The large bathroom was recently renovated with plenty of hot water in the shower. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and fully intend to do so in the future.

It’s a hotel full of history and that’s why the rooms, amenities are a bit old. Our balcony room as ok and the view from the balcony was nice. I enjoyed watching the sunrise there. The room was not very spacious but you got everything you need. The exhaust fan in the bathroom was really dirty and just making me feel uncomfortable. Hope the management of the hotel will focus on the cleanliness of the bathroom.
