Federation Gardens & Possums Hideaway

Our visits to the Blue Mountains are always made that much better by staying at Federation Gardens and Possums Getaway. Jess and her wonderful team do their absolute best to make us feel so welcome, nothing is too much trouble. We booked 2 of the Laurel cabins, and one of the private cabins for 6 adults and 2 young infants. Cabins are so clean and have everything you might need. The gas fires are perfect, with the wood fire in the private cabin enjoyed. You can do as little as you like or enjoy the tennis court, swim in the heated pool, roast marshmallows (provided by the venue, Thankyou!) at the fire pit. We absolutely loved our stay, Thankyou !

Comfortable with amazing surrounds. Stayed for five days and it felt like longer. Wonderful, friendly and accommodating staff. Everything you need is available in the cabins- wood fire ready to go on arrival. Will miss out possum friends. Will definately be back.

This was our second visit and we absolutely loved it! The kids played all the games and also used the tennis court. We used the fire pit and roasted the marshmallows that were provided. So close for lots of great bush walks. It is so quiet and relaxing. We will definitely be coming back again.

Words can’t express how much I loved staying here. It was a beautiful stay and Jess was wonderful and friendly. The accommodation was beautiful. I loved that the only noise you could here was from the birds and waking up looking out and seeing the beautiful bush was a highlight every morning

This gorgeous gem is a must! Staff were absolutely amazing their dedication and passion shows. Cottages were relaxing and a haven for a tired soul! The kids chess that was life size was adorable! Do yourself a favour and book you won’t be disappointed

We had a wonderful family get together at Federation Gardens last weekend. Our large group (27 adults, 10 children) were accommodated with ease. Jess was very helpful from our first phone call and ensured that our needs were met. The swimming pool and activities room were a real hit with our younger members. Accommodation was clean and comfortable and there was plenty of room to spread out. The weather was particularly kind so we had a great catch up around the BBQ area on the first night. Definitely value for money and a good location to access the many activities that the Blue Mountains offered.

Clean, tidy, well appointed cabins in a lovely parkland setting with fantastic amenities. Friendly and helpful staff and good value for money. Close to wonderful walks, shops and restaurants. We have stayed once before and will come back again in the future.

Relaxing holiday for family. Children enjoyed the indoor pool and exploring the grounds. It was very nice with lovely surroundings. It was quiet which was nice. Cabin was clean and functional. Would stay again. We also enjoyed the breakfast package.

Everything was thoughtfully supplied, from the firewood to fire starters, and even marshmallows in the room, which the kids absolutely loved. It was these small touches that really made our stay memorable. For entertainment, the kids' game room was well-stocked with activities including table tennis and various types of balls for different games and much more. The presence of a tennis court, with rackets and balls provided, added to the range of outdoor activities available. Adding to the many attractions of Federation Gardens & Possums Hideaway, the reception area offers a wide array of movies and board games. This collection is available for guests to choose from, completely free of charge. This feature is particularly appealing for families and groups looking for indoor entertainment options, especially during evenings or on the occasional rainy day.
