From the friendliest staff welcoming you, to the amazing dinner and best service in the restaurant, to the comfiest bed and superb room to overnight in!! Everything was top notch and I would definitely recommend City Lodge Bloemfontein as a must!

The whole stat was very pleasant from checking in to checking out. I did not indulge in meals this time around for my company booked bed only. I did request a room facing onto the pool area for the road facing rooms can be noisy at times. Normally this gives that extra peace and quiet but this time around the noise from unruly residents at the pool area was terrible, going on until after 21h00. Management needs to keep a tight reign on this for it just spoils the stay at a generally great hotel.

Housekeeping needs to clean bathrooms properly
The hotel room was okay, but the bathroom was dirty with mould on the shower wall tiles and green algae in the basin with a bad stench.
There was loud music playing in the courtyard below until 11h00.

Wheelchair accessibility
I'm a paraplegic using a wheelchair. The service, cleanliness, affordability and location was great but the wheelchair accessibility was not that good. I'm using a bath but all the wheelchair friendly rooms have showers and I had to use a general room because of that and it was difficult for me to move around the room and bathroom. They should also have accessible rooms with bathrooms if possible. There is also no direct access for wheelchairs to the swimming pool area and I had to go right around the hotel and enter through a back gate and over a area with grass to get to the pool area. They should have a ramp from the hotel/restaurant area to the pool which will give wheelchair patrons direct access to the pool area.
