This small traditional hotel is located in the town of Blonduos just off route 1. A large river meets the sea at the end of a finger of land so the hotel has a lovely position. We opted for a standard room which was ok-not huge but with comfy beds and a decent shower room. I wasn’t expecting a sea view (costs more) but there was only a tiny corner window which made the room a bit claustrophobic. We ate dinner on our 1 night stay which we enjoyed-only a couple of options. Breakfast had all the usual offerings. Note there isn’t a lift if you can’t manage heavy luggage but the staff are v willing to assist.

Alles in allem ein guter Aufenthalt, aber man merkt, dass sie gerade erst eröffnet haben Check in geht gefühlt 3 stunden, da die dame noch nicht mit dem neuen pc system zurechtkommt. Die zimmer sind klein, aber sehr gepflegt und sauber. Das bad im vergleich zum zimmer riesig! Frühstück gut, aber leider nirgendwo eine spur von servietten und nichts angeschrieben. Man erahnt also was man ist. Musik im frühstückssaal und das geschnatter aus der küche definitiv zu laut. Mit ein wenig übung wird das aber. Kann man empfehlen

This hotel was a very pleasant surprise. The surroundings are quite pretty and good for a nice and easy walk. There are a couple of stores and coffee shop around too. The facilities were newly refurbish so everything was in fantastic conditions. Breakfast was good with homemade bread.

Very unassuming building from the outside, but absolutely beautiful inside, with lovely sea views. Staff was helpful and informative. Room was comfortable and beautifully decorated. One of the favorite places we stayed in Iceland!

The outside pictures do this spot no favors. This is the cutest little place. The room was so special and felt uniquely decorated. Beds were comfy and the host was the best! Great tips for travel!!

Amazing and beautiful. The second level sea facing views were majestic. The quiet and opportunistic place to enjoy the beach, quiet, country life while being spoiled based on your need was amazing. The hotel team was kind and respectful but answered questions when asked. That’s all most visitors want. Congratulations with the recent opening and much success.

A fantastic place to stay, we were looked after extremely well and the food was amazing, including the free breakfast. Would recommend to anyone and would definitely stay again!

This is a nice cozy little hotel. It seems to be family run and everyone was super nice. The restaurant in the hotel was convenient and food was delicious.
