"This guesthouse seems to be run by the farmers themselves. The hostess was very welcoming, and the surroundings are lovely, with a large lake visible right from our room window. Outside the room, there's a big kitchen and dining area, fully equipped with a fridge and cooking utensils, which is great for preparing your own meals. There's no hairdryer in the room, and the shower drain in our bathroom was a bit clogged, draining very slowly. Another common issue with many hotels in Iceland, the room curtains are terrible at blocking out light, so we were woken up early by the sun."

"The family hotel has nice natural scenery (but it's too desolate). They even forgot about our check-in information that day, and we couldn't find our room. We were so anxious, and we couldn't get in touch with them by phone. Fortunately, we found a way to contact them, and finally got a room. It was almost 8pm at that time."

"Overnight stay, very clean and warm. When booked did not realise we might share area with others. Luckily when we arrived we were the only ones and had whole area to ourselves. When booked it said we could opt for breakfast. When asked got told they do not provide breakfast. If looking for overnight when touring Iceland and happy to share living accommodation with others this is ideal. We did have our own room and on suite."
