This hotel is really very special. It’s my second stay and as a Titanium Elite I would normally be slightly annoyed that i wasn't upgraded. Honestly, the whole experience from the wonderful check in lady (I checked in at 8p to the wonderful bartender was seamless. The rooms are gorgeous, but the people make it. Thank You

Looks sketchy from the front. Resurfacing parking lot w/lots of yellow tape roping off areas. Front of building has patches of drywall chipping off and unpainted. Not a good first impression as you arrive (at least in June it looked this way; perhaps they’re done?) The room is nicely furnished but it is a bit small. It will do just for one night before flying out the next morning. The front staff clerk was friendly and cheerful at check-in. Who doesn’t like being given a freshly baked warm cookie at check-in? Once inside the hotel was way too cold and did not give a feeling of coziness. The huge hallways and long walks to the room did not help. The rooms overlook a center courtyard (their namesake) with several beautiful blue spruce pine trees. It’s too bad it’s so noisy from the planes taking off at nearby airport that you can’t really enjoy sitting there. Despite the noise I did enjoy seeing the planes take off from our hotel room window. There were also two places to grab a drink or snack (bar in lobby and a bistro near the elevator). The hotel is undergoing some renovation. It is across the street from IKEA and near the Mall of America. It is right next to the freeway. It would be a bit of a walk to reach either of these places. The last surprise was when I booked this place I set the filter on a travel app for hotels that offered free breakfast. In the morning prior to our departure, we went down to the lobby only to discover that they do serve breakfast at the Bistro but for $24 per person! There was also a little snack shop in lobby that sold coffee and pastries. So we opted to eat at the airport.

The staff were all so professional and helpful (and tolerant) of our tired kiddos.

The hotel was a typical mall property, nothing special. Room was a bit dated with tattered pillows on the couch. We had a pull out sofa in the suite for our 2 toddlers and the blanket that was provided was one of the roughest blankets I’ve ever felt. I would not stay here again.

After arriving from an international flight our stay at the Marriott MOA was a wonderful experience. Check in was quick and the room was very nice and quiet.
