This hostal has a lot of events, the beds are comfortable and there are lots of spaces you can use. It’s very cheap and the location is excellent. It’s closed to main avenues and transportation and close to the clubbing area Zona Rosa.

Hotel was in the perfect location close to all big shopping centres and another plus was it was very clean. Room service was always top standard and consistent however it was big let down that the hotel didn’t communicate the spa/pool pictured was not available during the whole of my stay. If I’m not mistaken it should be clearly communicated to guests prior to accepting bookings if the included amenities are unavailable especially if for long periods. In addition, if the spa is unavailable the lift and level to the spa should be unavailable for guests to swipe to that level.. I went to inspect it (not knowing it’s being renovated) and got stuck on the level as there are no buttons to go back up.. Highly recommended however, it would be nice if the hotel was a bit more mindful with regarding the communicating to guests about renovation of spa and how long it’s being fixed + not allow access down to that level if there is no way back up

The best thing about this property is its proximity to the airport. For a 1 night stay it is perfect. Free shuttle included, however you should go to the 2nd floor door nr 5 to find a lady there with the hotel sign. Check was a slow, however check out was very fast Restaurant at night was extremly slow once order was taken

For a hotel room like this and for the price I paid - it was an amazing stay. The only thing is that you gonna have to bring ear plugs with you, since it is too noisy. The hotel locates right next to a highway.

My second time staying at an Ibis; LOVE these properties. The rooms are very basic but you'll have what you need. The property is fun and stylish, staff was helpful (including arranging midnight airport transportation for us) and there's a full service bar and restaurant. The breakfast buffet has an amazing selection of dishes; I wish hotels in the US offered breakfasts like this! The National Museum right across the street is well worth a visit and you're a short drive to Monserrate and Candelaria.

Awesome attention to guests and solutions friendly... food on the menu was excellent Loved the Salmon/Steak/Mil Hojas. Communication with guest was open and friendly on all topics warning about transportation matters and assisting to acquire.

ATTENTION HERE because we asked to change a room with a better view and when they changed us, there was no internet, so we had to go back to where we were before. This gave us a lot of quality of life and more coming from the noise hell that there was in the accommodation in Playa del Carmen. •Spacious. However, there are restrictions to use the spa Bad: •The kitchen has less than the basics and that is a problem if you expect to cook during your stay because, even if you complain, they will not be able to bring you everything you need. The only way they solve it is by giving you a blanket. •Regarding cleanliness: I do not like that the floor of the room is covered by a carpet; also, the carpet was completely disgusting. In addition, the utensils they used to clean were more dirty than clean. The surfaces and the bathroom were always very clean, but the floors were not. It is very important to take care of cleaning, disinfection and vacuuming very well, especially when the accommodation accepts pets and considering that we are still living in a pandemic. In conclusion, we had a good stay although perhaps I would recommend it more for a short stay. By the end I was already a bit upset by the carpet and the little glitches. But for the offer that there is and the quality / price ratio that you can find, it is not bad. What is certain is that the hotel would gain a lot of potential if it remodeled the apartments (I think it needs urgent restoration).
